The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is poised to be launched in India on April 15, expanding Vivo’s T-series smartphone range. This announcement was made via the company’s official account on X. The upcoming model is expected to incorporate significant improvements and will replace the Vivo T4 Pro, which was introduced in the previous year.
This smartphone will feature a notably large battery and is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Vivo has initiated promotional activities online, including an updated microsite on Flipkart that reveals essential specifications and design features as the launch date draws near.
Battery and Display Improvements
One of the standout features of the Vivo T5 Pro 5G is its impressive 9,020mAh battery, marking a substantial enhancement from the previous 6,500mAh battery found in the Vivo T4 Pro. Additionally, it is anticipated that this model will support 90W fast charging capabilities, thereby enabling quicker recharges for users.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has suggested that the Vivo T5 Pro 5G may come equipped with a 1.5K AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate. This represents a notable upgrade over the Vivo T4 Pro’s full-HD+ display and its 120Hz refresh rate, indicating a focus on delivering a superior visual experience to consumers.
The device is expected to be driven by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Furthermore, it will reportedly run on Android 16 along with OriginOS 6, promising users a smooth and contemporary operating experience.
