In a bizarre yet viral moment, a man was caught on camera using a train washroom as his personal sleeping space. The video, shared on Instagram by content creator Vishal, has amassed over 780,000 views, sparking both amusement and concern among netizens.

Makeshift ‘Bedroom’ in Train Washroom

The man can be seen holding a folded woven bed through the washroom’s window, transforming the cramped cubicle into a makeshift cabin. Vishal, narrating in Hindi, reacts in disbelief, saying, “Bhai ne washroom ko bedroom bana diya” (Brother has turned the washroom into a bedroom). He then queries the man about the load of items visible, asking, “Ye pura ghar ka saaman hai?” (Is this all your house stuff?). The passenger responds nonchalantly, “Haan” (Yes), confirming the extent of his improvisation. The post was captioned, “Train washroom bana diya bedroom.”

Mixed Reactions from Social Media Users

While many viewers found the video hilarious, others criticized the misuse of public facilities and raised hygiene concerns. One user joked, “He’s enjoying the journey while others can’t even find space to stand,” while another commented, “Railway authorities should make him disembark at the next stop.” Several users, however, sympathized with the man, suggesting that he might have been forced to improvise due to the lack of available seats during the festive rush.

Indian Railways and Passenger Behavior

The viral clip has reignited discussions around overcrowding in Indian trains, especially during festival seasons when travel demand peaks. Many pointed out that passengers often resort to desperate measures for comfort amid limited space and resources. Others highlighted the growing disregard for public property and cleanliness in shared spaces.

Railway authorities have not yet commented on the incident, but the video has drawn attention to the urgent need for better facilities, passenger discipline, and enforcement of public hygiene norms.
