During a screening of Hanuman Ansh at a cinema in Dehradun, Chief Minister Dhami attended the event alongside his wife, Geeta Dhami, several cabinet members, and local MLAs. After viewing the film, he took to the social media platform X to share his reflections. He acknowledged the film’s portrayal of the spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba’s life, emphasising themes such as penance, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in Lord Hanuman. Dhami stated that the film provides a deep understanding of how Baba Neem Karoli dedicated his life to humanitarian service and spiritual practice.

Dhami further noted that the life of Neem Karoli Baba carries a significant message regarding the essence of devotion. He highlighted that true devotion encapsulates not only spiritual practice but also the values of service, surrender, and the well-being of society. He extended his congratulations to the film’s team for their efforts in creating what he termed an “inspirational and spiritual film.”

In his remarks, Dhami mentioned Kainchi Dham’s elevation as a global centre of faith, indicating that the film contributes positively to the recognition of this sacred site.

Hanuman Ansh, written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, tells the story of a young man named Lakshminarayan, who embarks on a spiritual quest following his mother’s death. As he traverses North India seeking answers to questions about life, death, and human suffering, he ultimately transforms into the esteemed saint Neem Karoli Baba.
