After the conclusion of the 16-day-long ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar, a video of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav enjoying a light-hearted moment with youth on Patna’s Marine Drive has gone viral on social media. In the video, Yadav can be seen enthusiastically dancing with a group of young people and attempting steps made popular by Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.
Dressed casually and surrounded by his security personnel, Tejashwi appears relaxed and cheerful as he learns and mimics dance moves from one of the youngsters. The video captures a rare public glimpse of the RJD leader letting loose and bonding with the youth after an intense political campaign.
Tejashwi Shares Video
Tejashwi Yadav himself shared the video on his official social media platforms with a heartfelt message, underlining his commitment to youth and change. In the caption, he wrote:
“Despite the heat, humidity, and rain, the 16-day-long ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ concluded yesterday. At night, my nephew who arrived from Singapore suggested we go for a drive. On the way, we met some young artists on the road. They were singing songs and making reels. When they requested, I joined them and tried a few steps. With simplicity and ease, we will walk in step with the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of the youth, rising above caste and religion, to bring political change and build a new Bihar.”
Yadav’s message struck an emotional chord, presenting himself not only as a politician but also as a relatable figure connecting with the next generation.
In one lighthearted moment, he quipped, “Hum Modi ji ko nachate hain (We can even make Modi dance to our tune),” which drew chuckles from the group.
Mixed Reactions Pour In on Social Media
The video sparked a wave of mixed reactions online. RJD leader Rohini Acharya also shared the video, praising her brother’s easygoing nature. Several users appreciated Tejashwi’s down-to-earth attitude and called him the “future Chief Minister” of Bihar.
His sister Rohini Acharya also took to X posting videos of the RJD leader hanging out with the youngsters, humming songs, and making finger hearts.
“The youth of Bihar want change, they want a growing Bihar under the leadership of Tejashwi Bihar will move forward with youth leadership, along with new thinking,” she wrote in Hindi, in a not-so-subtle endorsement of her brother’s chief ministerial ambitions.
