Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) exhibited a notable sales increase in February 2026, recording a total of 63,331 units sold globally. This marks a substantial rise from the 46,811 units sold in February 2025, resulting in a year-on-year sales growth of 57 percent. Domestic sales played a crucial role in this performance, with the company reporting 62,329 units sold in the Indian market, compared to 46,435 units during the same month the previous year. The continuous demand for Tata’s diverse range of cars and SUVs has been driven by its commitment to innovative design, advanced safety features, and technology-driven solutions.

Growth in International Markets

The international business segment of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles also demonstrated significant expansion in February 2026. Exports reached 1,002 units, a remarkable upsurge from just 376 units in February 2025. This achievement highlights a dramatic increase of 167 percent year-on-year in its international sales operations, reflecting the brand’s growing global presence.

Electric Vehicle Sales Surge

Furthermore, Tata Motors reported continued success in its electric vehicle (EV) segment. Combined EV sales from both domestic and international markets, including figures from Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, totaled 8,385 units in February 2026. This represents a 57 percent increase from the 5,343 units sold during the same month of the previous year. The strong performance in the EV category emphasizes Tata’s leadership in India’s electric passenger vehicle market and its ongoing strategy to promote sustainable mobility solutions.
