Specially-Abled Woman and Her Lover Arrested for Husband’s Murder

The CSR Journal Magazine

A specially-abled woman has been implicated in the murder of her husband, reportedly in collusion with her lover. According to police authorities, the woman’s husband, identified as Shyamveer, aged 42, was allegedly killed in their residence located in Mojabad village, Faridabad, on the evening of August 16. Following this, the couple is alleged to have buried his body nearby, a crime that remained undiscovered for eight days.

Investigators have revealed that the woman’s name is Keshav, and she had been planning the murder with her lover, Kamat, for more than a month prior to the incident. The motivations behind these actions appear to stem from Shyamveer’s alleged awareness of an affair between Keshav and Kamat, which had reportedly led to frequent arguments between Shyamveer and Keshav, particularly when he had been consuming alcohol.

On the night of the murder, Kamat is alleged to have provided Shyamveer with alcohol. Once he became intoxicated, Kamat reportedly attacked him with an interlocking tile, resulting in fatal injuries. Keshav is accused of locking the door from the outside to muffle any sounds of the altercation, facilitating the concealment of the crime.

Discovery of the Body

The circumstances surrounding the discovery of Shyamveer’s body took a turn when his family, worried about his unusual absence, grew suspicious after communication from Keshav. She had allegedly stated that he had left home following an argument, which prompted his brother, Rambir, and his son-in-law to investigate further. Upon their arrival, they did not receive a satisfactory explanation regarding Shyamveer’s whereabouts.

Suspicion led them to investigate a plot covered with bushes located close to the house. As they began to dig at the site, they unearthed the buried body of Shyamveer, prompting them to alert the authorities. Police acted swiftly, and on August 24, they received information leading them to the scene where the body was exhumed under the supervision of a duty magistrate.

Following the exhumation, a case was registered by Shyamveer’s brother under applicable murder statutes. Investigators began questioning those involved, aiming to piece together the events leading to the tragic outcome.

Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

In a prompt response to the emerging details, the Crime Branch team arrested Keshav and Kamat within 24 hours of discovering the body. During the questioning, authorities uncovered that Kamat had been residing with Shyamveer and was involved in a relationship with Keshav, complicating the narrative of the case further.

As the investigation is still ongoing, police are delving deeper into the background of the murder as well as the events preceding the burial of Shyamveer’s body. The complexities of the interpersonal relationships among the individuals involved have raised multiple questions, which investigators are keen to address.

Police are committed to uncovering all relevant details in this case as they continue their efforts. The tragic incident highlights serious issues of domestic relationships and the potential for violence arising from betrayal and secrecy.
