Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a significant roadshow in Bhilwara on September 5, supporting candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the forthcoming urban local body elections. The event attracted a substantial crowd of party workers and supporters who gathered at various locations along the route.

The roadshow commenced from the Doodhadhari Gopal Temple and concluded at Maharana Talkies. Across the route, enthusiastic crowds greeted the Chief Minister, showering him with flower petals as a sign of their support.

Prior to the roadshow, Sharma engaged in prayer at the Radha-Krishna Temple and Charbhuja Temple, seeking blessings for the prosperity and wellbeing of the state. His spiritual observance highlighted the significance of community support and engagement ahead of the election.

Chief Minister Urges Voter Support for BJP

During his address to the public, Chief Minister Sharma highlighted the BJP government’s accomplishments under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that new measures of development have been established over the past two-and-a-half years. He emphasised the government’s efforts to create a strong foundation for progress in Rajasthan.

Sharma encouraged the electorate to support the BJP in the urban local body elections, suggesting that the incorporation of a “third engine” at the local level would enhance ongoing development initiatives. He asserted that a collaborative effort would ensure a “triple-engine” government across all urban centres, including Bhilwara.

In his speech, the Chief Minister reiterated his administration’s dedication to the “One State-One Election” principle, reflecting a long-term vision for smoother governance. This commitment to a consolidated electoral process underlines the government’s focus on efficiency and unity in the electoral landscape.
