Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah on acknowledged the crucial assistance provided by India, China, the United States, and several other nations in the wake of devastating floods that have affected the country. He stated that this support and solidarity from the global community are empowering Nepal to effectively manage the disaster’s aftermath.

Messages of Support Flood In

During his address to Parliament, Shah highlighted the numerous messages of goodwill and encouragement received from friendly nations via phone calls, letters, and social media. This outpouring of support has reportedly given the Nepali people strength during a challenging time.

The Prime Minister noted that help has been extended from many countries, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, the US, the UAE, Qatar, Singapore, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, and the UK. Shah expressed gratitude on behalf of the Nepalese government for the ongoing assistance from these nations, international organisations, and various agencies involved in relief efforts.
