Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, has been fined Rs 1,000 for exceeding the speed limit in Ranchi. The incident occurred when his vehicle was captured by the city’s traffic monitoring system violating established traffic regulations.

An electronic challan was generated under Section 183 of the Motor Vehicles Act after the surveillance system detected the speed infringement in close proximity to Dhoni’s residence.

In this instance, the system noted the vehicle’s speed surpassing the legally permitted limit, prompting the issuance of the digital challan as part of the city’s traffic enforcement efforts.
