The southern Iranian city of Minab is mourning the loss of 165 schoolgirls and staff members who were killed in an incident described as a United States-Israeli attack on a girls school. The Israeli military has stated that it has no knowledge of any attacks in the area by Israeli or US forces. This response mirrors previous statements made during the ongoing conflict in Gaza, where Israel has reportedly denied involvement in civilian casualties, only to later acknowledge responsibility as more information surfaced. Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, criticized the ongoing strikes by the US and Israel. He asserted that these nations continue to launch indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas, including hospitals, schools, Red Crescent facilities, and cultural landmarks.
