Lucknow Horror: Wife Beats Husband to Death with Help of Sons, Dump Body 1 KM Away

The CSR Journal Magazine

A shocking murder case has surfaced from Lucknow’s Malihabad area, where a 50-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his wife and two sons. The victim, identified as Arjun Pal, was found dead in a pit nearly one kilometre away from his home on Tuesday morning. The body was discovered near the Nabinagar canal bridge after locals noticed it and alerted the police around 10 am.

Brother Alleges Brutal Assault

According to a complaint filed by the deceased’s brother, Munnu Lal, Arjun Pal was assaulted inside his house in Kharta village. He alleged that Arjun was beaten with sticks and iron rods, following which his face was brutally crushed. To mislead investigators and portray the crime as an accident, the family allegedly transported the body and dumped it in the pit.

Murder Scene Evidence Recovered

When police reached the spot, they found an e-rickshaw placed on top of the body, along with visible injury marks on Arjun Pal’s face. Nearby, officers recovered a steel tank and a blood-stained bed, raising suspicions of foul play. Further investigation at the victim’s residence revealed bloodstains inside one of the rooms, strengthening the murder allegation.

Suspicion Deepens After Night Movement

The deceased’s brother told police that Arjun’s two sons were addicted to alcohol and gambling and often quarreled with their father. Villagers reported seeing an e-rickshaw leaving the village around 3 am on Tuesday, though the occupants could not be identified due to darkness. Police believe the body was transported during this time.

Accused Taken Into Custody

Malihabad Inspector Surendra Singh Bhati confirmed that Arjun Pal’s wife and both sons have been taken into custody for questioning. Preliminary findings suggest the body was moved using the e-rickshaw and dumped to stage an accident. Bloodstains have been found both in the vehicle and the house. Police say the investigation is ongoing and all angles are being examined.
