By His blessings, may all be blessed with well-being and may our Bharatvarsh sit enthroned at the peak of prosperity.”

Significance of Mahashivratri

Mahashivratri, celebrated with fervor across the country, symbolizes the divine union between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. This festival prompts devotees to engage in fasting, offer prayers, and participate in night vigils to seek the blessings of the deity.

According to Hindu mythology, during the night of their wedding, Lord Shiva was escorted to Goddess Parvati’s residence by a diverse array of gods, goddesses, animals, and demons. The union of Shiva and Shakti represents love, power, and harmony, celebrated with devotion nationwide on Mahashivratri.

He announced his intention to attend the Mahashivratri events at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore later that afternoon. In his message on X, Singh expressed, “On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone.
