Gurgaon police have registered a case after a 29-year-old woman alleged that she was drugged and gang-raped by two men, including her partner, at a spa centre on January 13. Both accused are from West Bengal, and one works as the spa manager. They are currently absconding and have been booked under Section 70(1) (gang rape) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Victim in Relationship with One of the Accused

The woman, who lives in West Delhi, had been in a relationship with one of the accused for three months. She stated that he picked her up from her residence around 11 pm and took her to the spa, which was closed for the day. According to her complaint, the second accused was already present inside, and both men had keys to the premises.

“She alleged that they offered her snacks and soft drinks, which she suspects were laced with sedatives, following which she felt drowsy and lost consciousness,” police sources said. The complainant added that the men raped her, recorded videos of the act, and threatened to make the footage viral if she reported it.

CCTV Footage Received

The victim’s medical examination is ongoing, and her statement will be recorded before a judicial magistrate. CCTV footage from the area has been seized, and forensic analysis of the evidence is in progress. Police are continuing efforts to locate the accused.

In a similar case last December, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men in a vehicle on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road. According to the survivor’s sister, the woman had left home after a quarrel with her mother and accepted a lift from the men as she could not find other transport. The accused allegedly took her to isolated stretches amid dense fog, held her captive for three hours, and raped her inside the moving van. Faridabad police later arrested two men from Uttar Pradesh in connection with that case.
