A quiet neighbourhood in East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar was shaken after a man allegedly killed three members of his own family and later surrendered to the police, officials said.

Police sources said the accused went to a nearby police station shortly after the incident and admitted to committing the crime. Acting on the information, officers rushed to the family’s residence, where they found three bodies inside the house.

The deceased were identified as the man’s mother, brother, and sister two women and one man from the same household. The scene was secured, and forensic teams were called in to assist with the investigation.

Bodies Sent to Post-Mortem

The bodies were subsequently shifted for post-mortem examinations as part of standard procedure. A criminal case has been registered, and the accused has been detained for questioning.

Investigators are now trying to piece together what led to the killings, including possible personal, emotional, or domestic factors. Police said the motive is still unclear and will be determined after further interrogation.

Authorities added that more details will emerge as the investigation progresses.
