A devastating road accident occurred on the outskirts of Hoskote in Bengaluru Rural district early Friday morning, resulting in the loss of seven lives. Police authorities have confirmed the fatalities, which took place near M Satyavara village on the Hoskote-Dabaspete National Highway. The incident began with an XUV 700 vehicle, identified by the registration number KA 03 NW 0138, that was travelling from Hoskote towards Devanahalli.

Details of the Collision

According to the police, the XUV 700 first collided with a motorcycle that was ahead of it. Following this initial impact, the driver of the XUV lost control, leading to a crash with a Canter vehicle. The situation escalated quickly, as another car also became involved in the collision, resulting in a complex chain reaction that included two cars, a motorcycle, and the Canter. Emergency responders confirmed that six individuals from the XUV and the rider of the motorcycle perished at the scene.

Victims and Investigation

The deceased are believed to be residents of Kothanur in Bengaluru; however, their identities have not yet been officially confirmed. The bodies have been transported to Hoskote Government Hospital for further examination. Law enforcement officials have registered a case regarding the accident and have commenced an investigation to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the event.
