Shri Tilakdhari Singh, a resident of Atariya village in Shahdol, had been living with high blood pressure and diabetes for many years. With limited means and no nearby healthcare facility, he often travelled to another village for treatment, which wasn’t always regular or affordable. His condition remained unstable, and symptoms like weakness and restlessness affected his daily life.
Things began to improve when he came to know about the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) services supported by Reliance Foundation. During his first visit, his blood pressure and sugar levels were found to be significantly elevated, prompting
immediate attention from the MMU team.
Along with regular medicines, he was advised to make simple lifestyle changes improving his diet and adding morning walks. With regular follow-ups and free medicines, Shri Singh gradually saw positive changes in his health. Today, he feels more stable and active. What was once a daily struggle has become a more manageable part of life, thanks to timely support reaching his village.
