The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) rewarded team India for winning the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy with a total prize worth Rs 58 crore which was distributed among players, their support staff as well as coaching personnel and members of the selection committee. BCCI rewarded this cash prize as an appreciation for the team’s amazing tournament victory at the prestigious tournament.

Captain Rohit Sharma led the team to a perfect run throughout all matches in the tournament. The team began with impressive success as it secured six-wicket victories against Bangladesh before defeating Pakistan by another six wickets. India continued their forward progress by beating both New Zealand and Australia in their path to the semifinals. The T20 World Cup final saw India defeat New Zealand with a four-wicket margin after chasing down their target of 252 runs where Rohit Sharma scored 76 runs and KL Rahul wrapped up the match with an unbeaten 34*.
BCCI President Roger Binny congratulated the team, highlighting that this victory marked back-to-back ICC titles for India.
