The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 faced significant disruption at Satya Sai PG Girls College in Jaipur, leading to its cancellation in the first shift. The examination, which was scheduled for August 22 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, encountered a major technical fault shortly after commencing, with issues arising within the first 15 minutes. Candidates were reportedly left idle for nearly an hour and a half as system administrators worked to rectify the problem.

As the malfunction persisted, numerous female candidates suffered from anxiety and panic. This worsening condition added to the tension felt within the examination halls, prompting some students to feel physically unwell due to the prolonged wait and uncertainty surrounding the exam’s outcome.

During the chaotic scene at the college, the protests escalated outside as candidates and their families gathered to express their frustration over the situation. The demands for clear communication and prompt action from the administration grew louder as time passed without any concrete answers regarding the examination’s status.

Administrative Response to Protests

In response to the disturbances, Jaipur Additional District Magistrate Narendra Kumar arrived at the venue to evaluate the situation. He engaged directly with the protesting candidates and their guardians, seeking to alleviate the growing unrest on campus. His presence aimed to restore a sense of order and address the concerns raised by the candidates.

After a thorough assessment, College Observer Harshita Sharma officially announced the cancellation of the first shift of the examination, stating that a new examination would be organized for those affected. This decision was met with mixed reactions, as candidates expressed their dissatisfaction with the management’s handling of the situation.

Local police and administrative officials were stationed at the venue to ensure that peace was maintained while candidates continued to voice their frustrations. Many demanded a comprehensive investigation into what they perceived as significant lapses in exam management and communication.

Candidates Express Disappointment and Frustration

The cancellation of the Ayurveda PG Entrance Examination has led to widespread dissatisfaction among candidates and their families. Many described the experience as mentally draining, expressing that their months of hard work had been undermined by the technical failure. Students shared their experiences of chaos within the examination halls, recounting how the systems froze shortly after the exam began.

One candidate articulated the emotional toll of the incident, stating, “We have been studying for months, and just 15 minutes into the exam, the systems hung. We were left waiting, hoping for a resolution that never came.” Their sentiments reflect a larger frustration among students who had invested significant time and effort into their preparations.

Parents who accompanied their children also voiced their concerns about the situation, highlighting the financial and logistical challenges faced by outstation candidates. Many expressed disappointment over the lack of communication from the examination centre, which exacerbated the stress felt by candidates during the prolonged delay.
