Ayodhya Bans Outsiders from Entering Government Schools

The CSR Journal Magazine

The district basic education department of Ayodhya has announced a ban on the entry of outsiders, including YouTubers and individuals linked to social media platforms, into parishadiya (government) schools without obtaining prior authorisation. This directive was issued by the District Basic Education Officer, Lal Chand, on August 19. The order highlights that unauthorised access to school properties, including the performance of photography and videography, is strictly prohibited.

Conditions for Entry

The education department asserts that recent occurrences have involved outsiders entering school premises to record images and videos of school staff and activities, which were subsequently posted on various social media platforms. Such actions are considered detrimental to the learning atmosphere and are seen as undermining the dignity associated with the teaching profession.

The order directs all relevant school personnel and administrators to ensure strict adherence to these guidelines. The education department insists that there will be immediate enforcement of these regulations to safeguard the sanctity of educational institutions.

Impact on Educational Environment

This decision arises from concerns that the presence of unapproved visitors could disrupt the teaching-learning process, affecting both educators and students. The guidelines aim to establish a more secure environment in schools, allowing educators to focus on their responsibilities without distractions.

The release indicates that the measures are intended to protect the integrity of educational interactions and maintain a professional setting for teachers and students alike. The ban reflects an organisational commitment to upholding the dignity and decorum fundamental to educational institutions.

Parents and guardians have also been informed about this ban, affirming the education department’s intent to create a conducive learning environment. They have been encouraged to report any instances where the new regulations are not being adhered to in schools.
