Assam Government’s latest initiative for school education with a focus on children of tea gardens
Starting today, the Government of Assam will be inaugurating 38 new secondary level schools across the state to provide better educational opportunities to children, especially those residing in areas adjacent to the tea gardens. Keeping in mind the education of children residing in and around tea gardens, 19 of these new schools have been located in these regions.
“Starting from June 19th to June 25th, we will dedicate 38 new secondary schools to our student community. Out of the 38 schools, 19 will be in our tea garden area. We are committed to transformative changes in the field of education,” Honourable Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on social media.
