Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo V70 FE in India on April 2, introducing the third smartphone in the V70 lineup, which includes the V70 and V70 Elite. This mid-range smartphone was previously launched in Indonesia in March. The Vivo V70 FE is highlighted by its impressive 200-megapixel camera and boasts a design that allows it to endure water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 120 minutes. The device will be available in two distinct color variants and is scheduled to hit the market starting April 9 through Amazon.

Specifications and Features

The Vivo V70 FE is equipped with a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, coupled with configurations of up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Running on Android 16 with OriginOS 6, the company guarantees up to six years of security updates for the device.

In terms of photography, the smartphone features a 200-megapixel primary camera alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50-megapixel punch-hole camera located on the front. The device is supported by a substantial 7,000mAh battery capable of 90W wired fast charging, allowing it to reach a full charge in approximately 60 minutes. Additionally, an in-display fingerprint sensor is provided for biometric security.

The Vivo V70 FE includes symmetrical dual speakers integrated with Gaming HyperSense Audio technology, enhancing the audio experience. It has been assigned IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, guaranteeing reliability in various conditions. The device is particularly equipped for underwater photography, withstanding submersion in water to a depth of 1.5 meters for 120 minutes and enduring up to 48 hours of exposure to rain.

Moreover, the smartphone offers a Private Space mode, designed to create a secure and encrypted setting for safeguarding sensitive files, photos, and applications, with access limited to authenticated users.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo V70 FE is available in three configurations: the entry-level 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 37,999, the mid-tier option of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at Rs 40,999, and the top variant featuring 12GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Rs 44,999. Consumers will be able to purchase the device from Amazon and the Vivo India website starting April 9, presented in two color options: Monsoon Blue and Northern Lights Purple.
