Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami Receives Enthusiastic Welcome During Kumaon Tour

During his two-day tour of Kumaon, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami traveled from Kashipur to Khatima by road, where he was welcomed enthusiastically by local residents and BJP party members. Reports indicate that at several points along the route, a significant number of supporters gathered to express their appreciation. Many participants engaged in symbolic gestures of support, including the use of bulldozers, demonstrating their excitement and commitment.

Throughout the journey, crowds congregated in numerous towns including Kashipur, Bazpur, Gadarpur, Rudrapur, Dineshpur, Kichha, Sitarganj, and others. People from all demographics – youth, women, and the elderly – greeted the Chief Minister with garlands and flower showers, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere. The large turnout highlighted the community’s endorsement of the government’s developmental initiatives and welfare programs.

Expressions of Gratitude and Commitment

Chief Minister Dhami conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the public, stating that their support and trust inspire him to dedicate himself further to the progress and governance of the state. He reiterated his commitment to inclusive development, ensuring all citizens benefit from the advancements made under his administration. His remarks underscored the government’s focus on reaching every individual, regardless of their status.

On the same day, Chief Minister Dhami visited the Maa Bal Sundari Temple in Kashipur to offer prayers, seeking overall development, peace, and prosperity for the state. During the visit, he participated in the inauguration of the Bhajan Sandhya program, lighting a ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion. The Chief Minister declared that funds from the Chaiti Mela corpus would be allocated for the beautification of the temple and the enhancement of its premises.

Promotion of Cultural Heritage

While welcoming attendees of the Chaiti Mela, the Chief Minister prayed for the happiness and prosperity of all participants. He described the festival not simply as an event, but as a celebration of faith, culture, and heritage. Dhami expressed optimism that the Chaiti Mela would bolster trade, tourism, and local development, thereby generating new job opportunities for the residents of the region.

Chief Minister Dhami praised the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that under his leadership, the state is achieving significant milestones in both development and prosperity.
