The Chief Educational Officer of Salem confirmed the suspension, stating that the teacher would be paid a subsistence allowance during this period but would not be permitted to leave the headquarters without permission.

Another concerning event was reported in Jaipur, where a government school teacher was also suspended after a video showed her lying on the floor while students massaged her legs. The footage, which captured a student standing on the teacher’s back to provide the massage, led to public outrage. Rajasthan’s Minister of School Education, Madan Dilawar, condemned the act, stating that such behavior would not be tolerated.
