Rashmika Mandanna Calls Audio Clip Leak a Privacy Violation, Warns of Legal Action

The CSR Journal Magazine

Rashmika Mandanna, a prominent actor recently married, has publicly addressed a controversy surrounding an alleged audio clip of her that has gained traction on social media. Taking to Instagram Stories, she characterized the incident as a significant invasion of privacy and urged individuals to stop circulating the clip.

Clarification on the Nature of the Audio

In her statement, Mandanna clarified that the audio clip purportedly comes from a private conversation recorded nearly eight years ago. She expressed her sentiments to her supporters, noting, “To my dearest people who have been with me through this incredible journey so far. And to others concerned with this matter – It has been 8 years since a sustained campaign of misinformation, harassment, and targeted attacks from a section of the media and individuals online had started against me.”

Concerns Over Misrepresentation

The actor went on to express her frustration regarding the misrepresentation of her words in the media. She indicated that her statements have often been taken out of context, leading to harmful narratives aimed at generating controversy and traffic. Although she had remained patient in the face of adversity, the recent developments were intolerable. “What has happened in the last 24 hours crosses a line that can’t be ignored,” she remarked.

Legal Measures and Call for Action

Mandanna pointed out that the audio in question had been recorded and disseminated without the consent of those involved. She criticized the manipulation of her past words for creating a new controversy, particularly as it coincides with significant changes in her personal life. This, she claims, not only affects her but also drags her family and acquaintances into discomfort. She defined this act as a severe breach of privacy and dissemination of misleading information. “While we move forward in life, it is unfortunate that a few continue to manufacture hate and controversy at the cost of another person’s dignity and peace,” she stated.
