Oppo Set to Launch Find X10 Series In India With ColorOS 17

The CSR Journal Magazine

Oppo is preparing to launch its upcoming Find X10 series in India. The company has initiated a pre-launch promotional campaign, aiming to generate interest among potential buyers and share essential specifications ahead of the official announcement. Notably, the Find X10 series will feature ColorOS 17, which is anticipated to debut globally on October 13.

ColorOS 17 is touted by Oppo as a significant upgrade, designed to align software and hardware at the chip level to enhance performance. The company claims this integration will facilitate reliable performance for daily tasks, as well as for more intensive activities such as multitasking and extended 4K video recording.

The software upgrade aims to foster a more interconnected experience throughout Oppo’s ecosystem, comprising other smartphones and IoT devices. This aligns with the growing trend of seamless integration among technology products.

Insights Into The Find X10 Series

The Oppo Find X10 series consists of two models: the standard Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max. While both smartphones are confirmed for a global launch on October 21, the Indian launch event is expected to take place the following day, October 22. The Find X10 Pro Max is particularly noteworthy as Oppo’s next flagship camera phone.

Previously, the device was introduced to the Chinese market, featuring an impressive configuration of three cameras, each with 200 megapixels. For the Indian market, it has been confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will incorporate MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, making it Oppo’s first Pro Max edition.

Having already debuted in China, the expectations for the Find X10 Pro Max in India are becoming clearer. The smartphone is projected to possess a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, potentially reaching 144Hz for certain supported games. Additionally, the display is likely to achieve peak brightness levels of up to 3,600 nits.

Camera Features and Battery Specifications

Camera technology is anticipated to be a major selling point of the Find X10 Pro Max. The device is rumoured to showcase three advanced 200-megapixel cameras on the rear. The primary sensor is expected to include an f1.5 aperture and two-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS), alongside a 200-megapixel ultra-wide camera featuring a 124-degree field of view and a telephoto lens with OIS that could support macro photography from a distance of just 10 centimetres.

The front camera may boast 50 megapixels with autofocus capabilities, enhancing options for selfies and video calls. Video recording options are also impressive, anticipated to include 8K Log recording across the three rear cameras and 4K recording at 120fps with Dolby Vision support.

Powering the Find X10 Pro Max, an 8,000mAh battery is projected, with fast charging capabilities of 80W wired and 50W wireless. Oppo claims the battery in the Chinese variant can maintain at least 80 per cent of its original capacity even after five years of usage. Moreover, the device is expected to come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, as well as a five-star rating for drop protection from SGS Switzerland.

In China, the Find X10 Pro Max is made available in three colour variants: Moon White, Warm Orange, and Light Titanium, although it remains uncertain whether all of these options will be introduced in the Indian market.
