The All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 was interrupted at an examination venue in Jaipur due to a power outage, impacting 49 candidates’ ability to finish their assessments. The examination was held on August 22 at Shri Satya Sai PG College, where a total of 192 candidates were present for the test. According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), the power failure occurred during the computer-based examination, preventing the affected candidates from completing their papers.

The AIAPGET was administered in Shift-I on the scheduled date, with 36,979 candidates registered nationwide. Out of those, 35,837 appeared for the exam across 200 centres throughout the country. While most candidates successfully completed the examination, a significant disruption was reported at the Jaipur centre where 49 candidates could not finish due to the unexpected power outage.

Furthermore, reports indicate that the disruption extended into the second shift of the examination. The power supply reportedly remained down, which affected candidates who were scheduled to take their tests later in the day. Candidates for the second shift were expected to enter the examination centre between 1 pm and 2.30 pm, but numerous individuals were still waiting outside the facility even after 3 pm.

The initial shift for the examination was set to take place from 10 am to noon, but the power cut occurred around 10.15 am, leading to the significant disruptions observed.
