Man Killed by Friend Over Insufficient Liquor Supply in Nagpur

A tragic incident occurred in Nagpur where a man lost his life following a dispute over the quantity of liquor purchased for a party. According to police reports, the event transpired in Baba Buddhaji Nagar on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh, also known as Vaidya Mukundrao Masram, aged 40. He was reportedly attacked by his friend Shankar Shripad Bhaisare, aged 48, after Masram returned from purchasing liquor with less than what had been agreed upon. It is stated that Masram had been given money to acquire a larger quantity of alcohol but failed to do so, leading to the violent confrontation.

During the altercation, two other individuals are believed to have participated in the assault alongside Bhaisare. The confrontation escalated, resulting in severe injuries to Masram, ultimately leading to his death.

Authorities were alerted to the situation, and subsequent investigations led to the arrest of Bhaisare and the two accomplices involved in the assault. The local police are continuing their inquiry into the incident, ensuring that all aspects of the case are thoroughly examined.

This incident highlights the potential for violence arising from disputes over seemingly trivial matters, raising concerns about social interactions in community settings. Police officials are urging citizens to resolve conflicts amicably and to avoid resorting to violence.
