The Qatari Defence Ministry has announced that its air force successfully intercepted and downed two Iranian SU24 fighter jets. This action comes as the ongoing conflicts stemming from attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran have escalated, prompting Iranian military responses throughout the region.

Interception of Missiles and Drones

In addition to the fighter jets, the Qatari military also reported that it intercepted seven ballistic missiles and five drones launched by Iran. The ministry emphasized that the threats were countered swiftly upon detection, adhering to operational protocols to ensure all missiles were neutralized before they could reach their intended targets.
