A tragic shooting incident occurred on February 17 in Rohtak, Haryana, where a young man was fatally shot outside a private hospital located on the Delhi Bypass. Eyewitnesses reported that two unidentified gunmen arrived on a scooter and discharged approximately 15 to 20 rounds at the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh, also known as Goga, and he was a resident of Nizampur.

Police Investigation Underway

Authorities were promptly notified of the shooting and a police team, along with forensic experts, arrived to initiate an investigation. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ravi Khundiya noted that the identities of the perpetrators remain unknown, as does the motive behind the attack. This incident follows another shooting that occurred in Delhi’s Rohini area, where a man named Sahil was also killed. Sahil, who had recently been released from incarceration, was shot multiple times. Authorities suspect that a rivalry between gangs is at play, similar to the situation surrounding Goga’s death. Reports suggest that the assailants in both cases could potentially be linked to gang conflicts.

At the crime scene, law enforcement officials recovered several empty bullet shells, which indicates a planned execution. It has been reported that Dinesh sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including to his head and other parts of his body. Following the attack, the assailants fled the area on a motorcycle. The swift response from the police led to the initiation of a thorough investigation into the matter to uncover more details.
