EC Almost Done With Initial Phase of Enumeration Forms to all Registered Voters in Bihar

The Election Commission on Sunday said that the initial phase of printing and distributing enumeration forms to all registered voters in Bihar, following the revision exercise, is almost complete. It also confirmed that 21.46% of the filled-out forms have been submitted so far.

“The initial phase of the exercise, during which enumeration forms were to be printed and distributed, is almost complete, with the forms being made available to all electors who were accessible,” said Deputy Director P. Pawan in a statement issued by the Election Commission.

However, there remains a significant backlog in the number of forms uploaded to the poll body’s ECINET database. Only 7.25% of the 1.69 crore applications have been uploaded to the system so far.

“Partially filled forms are also available for download on the portal as well as on the ECINET app. The forms can be uploaded by the electors through the app,” the statement added.

Vaishali tops the list of districts with the highest number of submissions on the portal, with over 1.78 lakh forms submitted. This is followed by Patna, East Champaran, Nalanda, and Samastipur. The bottom five districts in terms of form submission are Lakhisarai, Banka, Kaimur, Munger, and Sheohar.
