Nitin Nabin, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, is set to embark on a crucial two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from September 21 to 22. This visit is strategically important as the state prepares for the upcoming Assembly elections. During his time in Uttar Pradesh, Nabin’s agenda will include various organisational meetings, public outreach programmes, and discussions focused on election preparedness.

Part of Nabin’s itinerary includes visits to historical sites and important temples to seek blessings, which emphasises the BJP’s commitment to values such as service and dedication. The trip marks a significant opportunity for the party to galvanise support and energise its grassroots workers.

Activities Planned in Meerut

On September 21, Nitin Nabin will arrive in Meerut at Krantidhara and commence his activities by paying floral tributes at the Indian National Army Martyrs Memorial and Park, honouring the sacrifices of the martyrs. Following this solemn remembrance, at 11:30 AM, he will address a large gathering at a ‘Yuva Sammelan’ held at the Mangalya Auditorium of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. He is expected to encourage the youth to leverage their potential for the party’s goals.

His schedule also includes addressing a ‘Shakti Kendra Sammelan’ for the Western Region at 1:45 PM on the same campus. Later that day, Nabin will convene special meetings with former office-bearers, sitting Members of Parliament, legislators, and dedicated party workers from the Western Region to provide final directives for the election preparations. This segment of his visit is designed to ensure that the party’s strategy is cohesive and well-coordinated.

Engagements in Saharanpur

On the following day, September 22, Nabin will begin his morning with an interaction meeting in Meerut, where he will engage with esteemed personalities and notable citizens in the area. Following this dialogue, he will visit the historic Augharnath Temple to offer prayers and seek blessings from Mahadev, reinforcing the party’s cultural engagement.

Later, Nabin will travel to Saharanpur, where he will have lunch at the residence of a BJP karyakarta, demonstrating the party’s value placed on local engagement and unity among its workers. This visit to a party worker’s home underscores the BJP’s emphasis on its grassroots structure and community outreach.

After lunch at 1:00 PM, Nabin is scheduled to interact with former Members of Parliament and legislators from the Western Region at 2:15 PM. Following this interaction, he will hold a high-level meeting involving state and regional office-bearers, district presidents, district in-charges, and district general secretaries to discuss election strategies in detail. The conclusive event of this visit will see Nabin offer prayers at the Siddhapeeth Shakambhari Devi Temple for the prosperity and peace of all citizens, aiming to provide a strong impetus for the party’s efforts at the grassroots level.
