Delhi Govt to Provide Free NEET and CUET Coaching to Over a Lakh Govt School Students

The Delhi government is soon going to offer free online coaching classes to class 12th students of government schools who are preparing for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG).
The education department signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bharat Innovation Global (BIG) Private Limited to facilitate free online coaching. BIG is a collaboration between the National Skill Development Cooperation, the International Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and an ed-tech company, Physics Wallah Limited.

Over a Lakh Beneficiaries

On Thursday, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the MoU signing at the assembly and said that the initiative aims to help over 1.63 lakh students of Delhi government schools secure admission to medical colleges and central universities.
“With this support, more students will have the opportunity to pursue their dreams of becoming doctors and securing admissions in top universities,” said Gupta.
Students will be able to attend six hours of classes every day, which will run until May 5. The course will cover subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, English, and general aptitude. PDF notes for revision, periodical tests and a doubt resolution portal are other features available to the students.
