प्रदेश की महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा संचालित ‘नारी अदालत’ योजना ग्रामीण स्तर पर 07 से 11 महिलाओं के समूह के माध्यम से कार्य कर रही है। इसके माध्यम से प्रदेश में खास कर महिलाओं के लिए संचालित योजनाओं जैसे वन स्टॉप सेंटर, 181-वुमेन हेल्पलाइन, ‘बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ’ जैसी महत्वपूर्ण योजनाओं की जानकारी आम जनमानस तक पहुंचाया जा रहा है। यह पहल महिलाओं को प्रशासनिक ढांचे और सरकारी योजनाओं से जोड़कर उन्हें सशक्त नागरिक बनाने की दिशा में कारगर सिद्ध हो रही है।

परंपरा के मुताबिक, सुप्रीम कोर्ट के मौजूदा चीफ जस्टिस ही अपने उत्तराधिकारी का नाम सरकार को भेजते हैं। इस बार भी यही प्रक्रिया अपनाई गई है। कानून मंत्रालय ने औपचारिक तौर पर जस्टिस खन्ना से उनके उत्तराधिकारी का नाम पूछा था, जिसके जवाब में उन्होंने जस्टिस गवई का नाम आगे बढ़ाया।

जस्टिस गवई को 24 मई 2019 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट का जज नियुक्त किया गया था। उनका जन्म 24 नवंबर को महाराष्ट्र के अमरावती में हुआ था। वे दिवंगत आर.एस. गवई के बेटे हैं, जो बिहार और केरल के राज्यपाल रह चुके हैं। बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट में एडिशनल जज के रूप में उन्होंने 14 नवंबर 2003 को अपनी न्यायिक करियर की शुरुआत की थी। बतौर जज वो मुंबई, नागपुर, औरंगाबाद और पणजी के विभिन्न पीठों पर काम कर चुके हैं।

Justice BR Gavai Nominated as Next Chief Justice of India, Set to Take Oath in May

The process for India’s top judicial post is officially underway, with the name of Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai being put forward to become the 52nd Chief Justice of India. His nomination follows the formal recommendation made by current Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, who is retiring on May 13.

Justice Gavai is expected to be sworn in as Chief Justice on May 14, and if appointed, will serve in the role until November 2025, giving him a brief tenure of just six months at the helm of the judiciary.

Justice Gavai, Second Judge to Serve from SC Tribe

The Union Law Ministry had earlier initiated the appointment process by requesting the sitting Chief Justice to name his successor. As per established practice, the senior-most judge in line is typically chosen for the post, and Justice Gavai fits that criterion.

With this elevation, Justice Gavai will become only the second judge from the Scheduled Caste community to serve as the Chief Justice of India, following Justice KG Balakrishnan, who held the post from 2007 to 2010.

Justice Gavai’s judicial career spans over two decades. After completing his law degree, he began his legal journey in 1985 and soon started working with Raja S Bhonsale, a former Advocate General and High Court Judge. He began practicing independently in the Bombay High Court in 1987, later shifting his focus to the Nagpur Bench, where he specialised in constitutional and administrative law. Over the years, he also represented civic bodies and government entities such as the Municipal Corporations of Nagpur and Amravati, as well as Amravati University.

Justice Gavai’s Experience

His experience as a public counsel includes roles as Assistant Government Pleader and Additional Public Prosecutor from 1992, followed by his promotion to Government Pleader and Public Prosecutor in 2000. Justice Gavai was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court in November 2003 and became a Permanent Judge in 2005.

During his 15-year tenure at the Bombay High Court, he served at various benches Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Panaji before being elevated to the Supreme Court of India in May 2019.

Justice Gavai has participated in several landmark rulings during his time on the apex court. He was part of the Constitution Bench that upheld the 2016 demonetisation policy brought in by the Modi government. In the majority opinion, he wrote that the move “satisfied the test of proportionality” and confirmed the Union government’s authority to invalidate currency.

Justice Gavai’s Past Life

Another significant judgment under his name declared that state authorities demolishing properties of accused individuals without proper legal procedure was unconstitutional. The ruling emphasised the importance of due process, noting that “executive authorities cannot act as judges and execute demolitions without legal procedures.”

He also served on the bench that recently struck down the Electoral Bonds Scheme, addressing concerns about lack of transparency in political funding.

Born on November 24, 1960, in Amravati, Maharashtra, Justice Gavai comes from a legacy of public service his father, RS Gavai, was a respected social activist and former Governor of Bihar and Kerala.

With his appointment, Justice Gavai is poised to make judicial history not only because of his background, but also due to the critical legal decisions that are likely to come before the court during his short term.

“We dispose of the petition with a direction to the expert committee to prepare its recommendation and submit a report in that regard at the earliest so that relying on the report, the necessary amendments can be given effect to. Let this exercise be taken within a period of three months from today,” the Supreme Court noted in a related recent order.

AI Centre: महाराष्ट्र सरकार और IBM में बड़ा करार, मुंबई-पुणे-नागपुर में बनेंगे AI सेंटर

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने IBM टेक्नोलॉजी (इंडिया) के साथ मिलकर एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है। मंत्रालय में मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस की मौजूदगी में दोनों के बीच एक अहम समझौता हुआ है, जिसके तहत मुंबई, पुणे और नागपुर में AI (Artificial Intelligence) से जुड़े तीन सेंटर बनाए जाएंगे। इस समझौते का मकसद है सरकारी सेवाओं को ज्यादा तेज़, पारदर्शी और लोगों के लिए आसान बनाना। इसके लिए IBM की मदद से नई तकनीकों जैसे Hybrid Cloud, Cyber Security, Automation, और Data Analytics का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा।

तीन शहरों में तीन अलग-अलग सेंटर

मुंबई में भौगोलिक विश्लेषण (Geospatial Analysis) के लिए सेंटर बनेगा। पुणे में Forensic Science के लिए जरूरी ढांचा खड़ा होगा, जबकि नागपुर में एडवांस्ड AI रिसर्च और MARVEL टेक्नोलॉजी पर काम करने वाला सेंटर खुलेगा।

सरकारी सर्विस में आएगा स्मार्टनेस

अब सरकारी सेवा लेने के लिए लंबी लाइनें या चक्कर लगाने की ज़रूरत नहीं होगी। IBM की मदद से Virtual Assistant और Agentic AI जैसी तकनीकों से सरकारी सेवाएं ज्यादा पर्सनल और आसान बनेंगी। खास बात ये है कि इन सभी AI मॉडल्स पर महाराष्ट्र सरकार का ही मालिकाना हक रहेगा।

सरकारी कर्मचारियों और स्टूडेंट्स को मिलेगा ट्रेनिंग

IBM का ट्रेनिंग प्लेटफॉर्म अब महाराष्ट्र के सरकारी कर्मचारियों और छात्रों को AI, साइबर सिक्योरिटी और क्लाउड टेक्नोलॉजी में ट्रेनिंग देगा। इसका फायदा ये होगा कि सरकारी कर्मचारी ज्यादा टेक्निकल होंगे और नई तकनीकों को आसानी से समझ सकेंगे।

MSME और उद्योगों को भी मिलेगा फायदा

AI और ऑटोमेशन को अपनाने के लिए MSME सेक्टर और उद्योगों को भी बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा। इससे उनकी Productivity और Competitiveness दोनों बढ़ेगी। छोटे-छोटे व्यवसाय अब बड़े स्तर पर टेक्नोलॉजी से जुड़ पाएंगे।

बड़े नेताओं की मौजूदगी में हुआ समझौता

इस समझौते के मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस के साथ उपमुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, IT मंत्री अशिष शेलार, मुख्य सचिव सुजाता सौनिक और IBM इंडिया के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर संदीप पटेल भी मौजूद थे।

Homecoming: Families Rebuild Lives After Violence in Murshidabad

Clutching their belongings and accompanied by children and livestock, families who had previously fled their homes in fear are now returning to Murshidabad. Though lingering anxieties are visible, a sense of relief is palpable. “Things will be alright this time,” a returning man reassured his wife, voicing a hope for the future.

On Tuesday, thirty families returned to their residences in the areas of Murshidabad affected by recent violence, encouraged by assurances from the police and local administration. Official estimates indicated that approximately 500 individuals were displaced during the unrest. Around 200 have since returned, and the administration is actively working to facilitate the return of the remaining individuals. However, some local sources claim the actual number of displaced people exceeded 1,000, with many seeking refuge in neighbouring Malda and even the state of Jharkhand.

“For the first time, we feel hopeful, thanks to the efforts of the police and the Border Security Force (BSF),” an elderly resident stated.

Heightened Security and Arrests

Intense patrolling by the police and BSF over the past 48 hours, combined with consistent communication with local residents, has been instrumental in rebuilding trust in the affected areas. While there have been multiple reports of looting, including theft of cash, jewellery, and livestock, families are beginning to smile again as they return to their familiar surroundings.

The crackdown on those responsible for the violence is ongoing. On Tuesday, two individuals accused in a double murder in Samsherganj were apprehended near the Birbhum-Bangladesh border. Police have affirmed their commitment to bringing all perpetrators to justice, with an additional twenty arrests made on the same day.

To ensure the safety of returning families and prevent future incidents, central forces have provided contact information for responsible officers to each household. Rapid response units are on alert to address any untoward events swiftly. Furthermore, the police have initiated a digital crackdown, blocking over 1,000 social media accounts allegedly involved in spreading misinformation and inciting violence.

Dhuliyanpur: The Epicenter of Displacement

The Dhuliyanpur area, under the jurisdiction of the Jangipur Police District, experienced the largest number of displacements. Many residents sought shelter in Baishnabnagar in neighbouring Malda or across the state border in Jharkhand. Relief camps were established to provide food and essential aid.

According to district sources, 19 individuals returned home on Sunday, followed by 49 on Monday, and an additional 72 on Tuesday. “We urge all displaced families to return without fear. The district administration is here to support you,” stated Dinanaran Ghosh, the Additional District Magistrate (General). Jangipur SP Anand Roy added, “Complete peace has been restored in the area, and there is no reason for anyone to remain away from their homes.”

Restoring Normalcy and Building Trust

As Bengal celebrated its New Year, sweet shops in Dhuliyan reopened after being closed for several days. Bidi factories, a significant source of employment in the region, have also resumed operations. Peace meetings organized by the police, attended by both local officers and officers on special duty, have played a crucial role in restoring faith. Booth-level peace committees, comprising representatives from all communities and political parties, have been formed. These committees are tasked with reporting any disturbances or rumours directly to the police.

Combating Misinformation Online

According to ADG (South Bengal) Supratim Sarkar, over 1,093 social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, X, YouTube, and Instagram have been blocked. “Certain individuals were using these platforms to disseminate provocative content related to the incidents in Samsherganj and Suti. We have adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards such activities,” he stated.

BSF’s Commitment to Peace

“We are not here for any specific community; we are here for everyone,” emphasized DIG Neelotpal Pandey of the BSF South Bengal Frontier. “Our primary objective is to restore complete peace. We are working diligently to ensure the 100% return of all displaced persons.”

Political Reactions and Human Rights Investigation

Senior Congress leader and former MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury questioned the administration’s role during the period of violence. Speaking in Samsherganj, he alleged the involvement of some miscreants dressed in BSF uniforms in the unrest, asking, “Why haven’t they been identified yet?”

Meanwhile, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is dispatching a team to investigate allegations of police inaction during the peak of the violence. This probe is in response to a complaint filed by the Odisha-based human rights group, ‘Kalinga Rights Forum.’

The Waqf Act: Underlying Tensions

The violence was triggered by protests against the amended Waqf Act. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a challenge against the amended law on Wednesday. The three-judge bench will be headed by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna.

Adding political significance to the situation, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to address a gathering of minority leaders at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata – a meeting planned prior to the outbreak of violence. Leaders anticipate that her message will aim to rebuild confidence within the minority community. The Chief Minister has already declared that the amended Waqf law will not be implemented in West Bengal.

As the administration continues its efforts to de-escalate tensions and restore normalcy, the long-term challenge lies in maintaining this fragile peace.

Yogi Govt to Build Hostels for Working Women in 3 Cities, Each to House 500

In a significant move aimed at empowering working women, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced new plans. The plans include construction of modern hostels in Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Ghaziabad.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the initiative seeks to provide safe, accessible, and affordable accommodation for women in the workforce.

Women’s Safety

The Officials describe the project as a significant step toward ensuring women’s safety. It also promotes self-reliance, marking a major stride in the state’s ongoing efforts towards women empowerment.

SASCI scheme

Under the “Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI)” scheme, a total of eight hostels for working women have been approved in Uttar Pradesh. Each hostel will accommodate up to 500 women and will be constructed in Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Ghaziabad.

The project has been allocated a budget of Rs 381.56 crore. Of this, the Central Government has already released the first installment of Rs 251.8296 crore, which has been transferred to the Women Welfare Department by the State Finance Department.

Project to commence soon

According to reports, the construction agency has been designated for the project. Meanwhile, the work is expected to commence soon. Once completed, these hostels will significantly ease the housing challenges faced by working women across the state.

The Complete CSR Report of Titan Company Ltd FY 2024

Titan enjoys the reputation of being one of India’s leading lifestyle companies which started with watches and has now also diversified into jewellery, eyecare, Indian Dress Wear, Fragrances & Fashion Accessories.

CSR Spent in FY24

In the FY 2023-24, the company spent Rs 57.99 crores on CSR initiatives. Titan’s CSR policy focuses on education, especially of the underprivileged girl child, People with Disabilities, skill development for the underprivileged and support for arts, crafts and Indian heritage. Several CSR programmes are being run with the help of NGOs across the four priority states of Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Karnataka and Sikkim.

CSR focus in 2023-24

In FY 2023-24, over 22,370 girls were educated through remedial intervention, learning centres and school adoption under the Kanya Programme. Over 41,000 individuals have been skilled for employment, employability, and entrepreneurship, the Integrated Village Development Programme (IVDP) reached out to 16,307 individuals across Uttarakhand, Nagaland and Tamil Nadu.

The ‘Happy Eyes’ eye care project has provided compensation benefitting over 5 lakh underprivileged adults and children while 20 tribal women and 120 at risk women/girls supported for entrepreneurship as claimed by the company in its Annual report. At the same time 517 youth received scholarships for higher education and 774 persons with disabilities have been supported through Titan’s CSR.

Girl Child Education Programme

The programme focuses on providing remedial education, which encompasses both the Government school system and learning centres. The Kanya Programme, over the course of the year, has impacted more than 22,370 girls in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Kanya+, the school adoption model for young girls from 6-12 standard is running in its 2nd year with a focus on various aspects of education, including academic education, science education, adolescent education, and life skills, aiming to empower young girls and equip them with the necessary tools for a brighter future.

The Kanya Programme has been expanded to Raichur, Karnataka, where it currently supports more than 4,379 girls through 169 Academic Support Centres.

The Titan Kanya Sampoorna project is focused on education, life skills, adolescent health, and career guidance for girl students. The project is aimed to enhance school readiness, and reduced learning gaps to foster leadership qualities. During the Financial Year 2023-24, the Kanya Sampoorna Programme has impacted the lives of 35,000 girls in Cuddalore and Yadgir.

CSR for Skill Development

Skilling for employment – Through its skilling centres and partner organisations, a total of 5,049 youth were skilled in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana. A total of 2,438 of the trained youth were successfully placed, as mentioned by the company in its Annual Report.

The ‘Skilling for employability’ programme across Government ITIs and Tier 3 and Tier 4 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, has impacted over 35,149 youth.

Entrepreneurship Development – 120 at-risk women were trained in West Bengal. Two entrepreneurial women groups formed among tribal women near Mysore in Karnataka.

Over 774 persons with disabilities were skilled and 527 were placed during the year.

CSR to Support Indian Arts, Crafts and Heritage

Titan through its CSR has been undertaking efforts to nurture and revive craft clusters and enterprises through tailored assistance spanning design, product innovation, market access, upskilling, and business development. Comprehensive support was extended to 10 distinct craft clusters through individual projects, alongside aiding over 40 craft enterprises under Project Tarasha, thereby benefiting approximately 1,011 primary and 9,895 secondary beneficiaries.

CSR for Eyecare

Happy Eyes Eye Care CSR Programme

This is the company’s flagship eye care programme, which include free eye check-ups, providing free spectacles and also supporting cataract surgeries. The programme has been running for over 8 years now. This programme addresses the needs of underprivileged adults in the rural hinterland of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, as well as government school children. Over the years, the CSR programme has impacted more than 2.5 million beneficiaries, of which more than 0.5 million in Financial Year 2023-24 alone.

Tackling cataract blindness

Titan Company Ltd. and Sankara Eye Hospital have been working to tackle cataract blindness in Tamil Nadu. Over 2,24,000 individuals screened and 3174 free cataract surgeries were performed under this initiative.

The programme engaged local communities in identifying and treating eye diseases, empowering them with essential skills and tools. Under this, 17,001 persons with various eye ailments received treatment, including 9153 people who were provided with free corrective spectacles. Additionally, the collaboration extended its services to include the treatment of other eye disorders such as Glaucoma, Retina, Cornea, and Occuloplasty, with a total of 367 specialty surgical procedures performed thus far.

CSR for Water Conservation

Titan Company started initiatives both within and outside the Company’s fence to focus on water conservation and augmentation in India. The Company has invested in two huge rainwater harvesting cisterns in the jewellery plant, Hosur, which can store 1.4 crore litres of water. In a good rain-fed year, this storage can help satisfy the needs of the jewellery plant to the fullest.

Efficiency measures such as waterless urinals, IoT-based consumption tracking systems, drip irrigation for gardening and optimisation of freshwater usage for equipment have been areas of focus. The establishment of a MEE condensate water recovery and reuse recovery system helped the watches plant in Hosur save 400 KL/annum.

In addition to the completion of lake rejuvenation in Bengaluru and the ongoing one at Hosur, the Company has enhanced its focus on watershed management in many of its CSR programmes in places like Uttarakhand, Cuddalore, Krishnagiri and Chengam in Tamil Nadu. Recently, the Company also rejuvenated a Kalyani (pond) near Chikkaballapur, which can hold 13 lakh litres of freshwater.

CSR for Sustainable Water Solutions

Titan Company Ltd., in collaboration with Himmotthan Society, announced a significant milestone in their joint effort to bring sustainable water solutions to the Tehri district of Uttarakhand. Under this initiative, trenches and percolation pits have been constructed across 60 villages, offsetting 126 million litres of water from an annual water deficit of 359 million litres through community participation. This project has not only increased per capita water availability from 17 to 55 litres per day but also helped reduce drudgery of women and children on an average by 3 hours daily, resulting an improved quality of life.

In response to the severe water crisis exacerbated by changing climatic conditions and the devastating Uttarakhand floods of 2013, Titan Company Ltd. partnered with Himmotthan, a Tata Trusts initiative, to solve these issues. Currently, Titan is supporting 60 villages in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand.

Waste management

As part of the Zero Waste to Landfill initiative, a project has been initiated at Hosur with a cement co-processing plant for hazardous waste disposal. In line with the ERP guidelines, initiatives have begun on recycling and reduction of plastic packaging. The Company has engaged plastic waste processors to ensure responsible collection and recycling of plastic waste.

CSR for Rural Development

A new holistic Environment and Agriculture Development Programme with the National Agro Foundation (in Tiruvannamalai and Krishnagiri in TN) is now being supported for a 3-year term, covering 3,500 hectares of land. Monsoon Rain Forecast 2025: गर्मी ने भले ही इस बार जल्दी दस्तक दे दी हो लेकिन मानसून को लेकर मौसम विभाग ने बड़ा अपडेट दिया है। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने मंगलवार को इसे लेकर अच्छी खबर दी है। IMD ने कहा है कि इस बार मानसून में सामान्य से ज्यादा बारिश होगी। इससे किसानों और आम लोगों को राहत मिलेगी। इस पूरे मॉनसून सीजन में अल नीनो की स्थिति नहीं बनेगी। भारत में मानसून के चार महीनों यानी जून से सितंबर में सामान्य से अधिक बारिश होने की संभावना है।  Rain Forecast

मौसम विभाग का अनुमान है कि इस बार बारिश का आंकड़ा 87 सेंटीमीटर के दीर्घकालीन औसत का 105 फीसदी रहेगा। आईएमडी चीफ मृत्युंजय महापात्रा ने कहा कि अल नीनो की स्थिति, जो भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में सामान्य से कम मानसून बारिश से जुड़ी है, इस बार विकसित होने की संभावना नहीं है। मौसम विभाग की ओर से ये भविष्यवाणी ऐसे समय में आई है जब देश के कई हिस्से भीषण गर्मी से जूझ रहे हैं। मानसून में बारिश का असर सीधे खेती पर पड़ता है। अच्छा मानसून रहना भारत के कृषि क्षेत्र के लिए बहुत जरूरी है। लगभग 42.3 फीसदी आबादी की जीविका इसी पर निर्भर है। यह देश के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (GDP) में 18.2 फीसदी का योगदान करता है। देश के 52 फीसदी कृषि क्षेत्र में बारिश से ही सिंचाई होती है। यह देशभर में पीने के पानी और बिजली उत्पादन के लिए जलाशयों को भरने के लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है।

हालांकि, सामान्य बारिश का मतलब यह नहीं है कि देश में हर जगह और हर समय एक जैसी बारिश होगी। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक, जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण बारिश में बदलाव हो रहा है। जलवायु वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि बारिश के दिनों की संख्या कम हो रही है। लेकिन कम समय में भारी बारिश की घटनाएं बढ़ रही हैं। इससे बार-बार सूखा और बाढ़ आ रही है। भारत में मानसून आमतौर पर 1 जून के आसपास केरल के दक्षिणी सिरे पर आता है। यह मध्य सितंबर में वापस चला जाता है। Mumbai Rains

इस मानसून उम्मीद से ज्यादा बारिश का अनुमान

IMD के अनुसार, सामान्य बारिश का मतलब है कि चार महीने के मानसून सीजन में 87 सेंटीमीटर की औसत बारिश का 96 फीसदी से 104 फीसदी तक बारिश होना। यह औसत पिछले 50 सालों के आंकड़ों पर आधारित है। सीधे शब्दों में कहें तो, IMD का कहना है कि इस बार मानसून अच्छा रहेगा। किसानों को फायदा होगा और पानी की समस्या भी कम होगी। हालांकि, हमें जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण होने वाले बदलावों के लिए तैयार रहना होगा। बारिश कभी भी एक जैसी नहीं होती, इसलिए हमें पानी का सही तरीके से इस्तेमाल करना होगा।

Delhi Airport User Charges 2025: देश की राजधानी दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे (IGI Airport) से उड़ान भरने वाले इंटरनेशनल यात्रियों को अब अपनी यात्रा के लिए अधिक जेब ढीली करनी होगी। आज 16 अप्रैल 2025 से दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट ने इंटरनेशनल पैसेंजर्स के लिए यूजर चार्ज (User Development Fee) में भारी इजाफा कर दिया है। डोमेस्टिक यात्रियों के यूजर चार्ज में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है।
Delhi Airport User Charges 2025: इकोनॉमी क्लास के यात्रियों को अब 659 रुपये चुकाने होंगे, जो कि पहले के मुकाबले 404 प्रतिशत ज़्यादा है। बिजनेस क्लास के यात्रियों के लिए यूजर चार्ज 810 रुपये निर्धारित किया गया है, जो 528 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी दर्शाता है। वहीं International Arrival पैसेंजर्स को अब इकोनॉमी क्लास के लिए 275 रुपये, और बिजनेस क्लास के लिए 345 रुपये User Charge देना होगा। डोमेस्टिक डिपार्चर के लिए User Charhe अब भी 129 रुपये और अराइवल पर 56 रुपये बना रहेगा। एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ने फिलहाल डोमेस्टिक चार्ज में वृद्धि को खारिज कर दिया है।

AERA ने दी मंजूरी, टिकट की क़ीमत पर असर

Delhi Airport User Charges 2025:  दिल्ली इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट लिमिटेड (DIAL) ने इन दरों को बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव एयरपोर्ट इकोनॉमिक रेगुलेटरी अथॉरिटी (AERA) को भेजा था। एरा ने प्रस्ताव की समीक्षा के बाद इन्हें संचालन और क्वालिटी मेंटेन करने के उद्देश्य से जरूरी बताते हुए मंजूरी दी। एयरपोर्ट प्रबंधन के अनुसार, बढ़ी हुई फीस से रेवेन्यू जरूरतों को पूरा किया जा सकेगा, जिससे यात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई जा सकेंगी। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, इस फैसले का सीधा असर इंटरनेशनल टिकट की कीमत पर पड़ेगा। यात्रियों को अब एयरलाइन टिकट बुक करते समय पहले की तुलना में थोड़ा ज्यादा भुगतान करना पड़ सकता है।

भविष्य में डोमेस्टिक यात्री भी दायरे में

Delhi Airport User Charges 2025: दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट की यह कोशिश थी कि डोमेस्टिक यूजर चार्ज में भी बढ़ोतरी हो, लेकिन AERA ने इस मांग को यह कहते हुए खारिज कर दिया कि दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट का 80 प्रतिशत ट्रैफिक डोमेस्टिक यात्रियों का होता है, और इसका सीधा असर बड़े वर्ग पर पड़ सकता है। 2025 तक डोमेस्टिक पैसेंजर्स में 5.26 फ़ीसदी वृद्धि का अनुमान है। 2027 तक यह आंकड़ा 6.72 फ़ीसदी तक पहुंच सकता है। वहीं इंटरनेशनल पैसेंजर्स में 2026 तक 5.3 प्रतिशत वृद्धि की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है।

पैसेंजर्स ने अपने ही पैर में मारी कुल्‍हाड़ी, इस फ्री सर्विस पर लगेगा चार्ज

No Free Service at Airport: देश के सभी एयरपोर्ट पर जल्‍द ही एक ऐसी सर्विस के लिए पैसेंजर्स को फीस का भुगतान करना पड़ सकता है, जो सर्विस अभी तक फ्री उपलब्‍ध थी। इस बाबत DGCA ने एयरलाइंस से बात कर नई पॉलिसी भी तैयार कर ली है। सूत्रों के अनुसार, नई पॉलिसी व्‍हीलचेयर सर्विस को लेकर बनाई जा रही है। अभी तक सभी एयरलाइंस अपने पैसेंजर्स को व्‍हीलचेयर की फ्री सर्विस उपलब्‍ध करा रही हैं। नई पॉलिसी के तहत, अब व्‍हीलचेयर की फ्री सर्विस वरिष्‍ठ नागरिकों तक ही सीमित रहेगी। 60 साल से कम उम्र के पैसेंजर्स को व्‍हीलचेयर की फ्री सुविधा पाने के लिए कुछ निर्धारित शर्तों को पूरा करना होगा। इनके इतर सभी पैसेंजर्स को व्‍हीलचेयर की सुविधा लेने के लिए निर्धारित शुल्‍क का भुगतान करना होगा। एविएशन मिनिस्‍ट्री के सीनियर ऑफिसर के अनुसार, एयरपोर्ट पर व्‍हीलचेर की कमी की शिकायतों को देखने के बाद तमाम एयरपोर्ट पर एक सर्वे कराया गया था। इस सर्वे में पता चला कि ज्‍यादातर पैसेंजर्स टर्मिनल में लगने वाली लंबी लाइनों से बचने के लिए व्‍हीलचेयर का ऑप्‍शन ऑप्‍ट कर रहे हैं। इस वजह से जिन पैसेंजर्स को असल में व्‍हीलचेयर की जरूरत है, उन्‍हें यह सुविधा मिल ही नहीं पा रही है। इस समस्‍या को देखते हुए DGCA ने व्‍हीलचेयर पर फीस लगाने की मांग को स्‍वीकार कर लिया है।

व्‍हीलचेयर पर फीस को लेकर एयरलाइंस का क्‍या है कहना

No Free Service at Airport: सभी सीनियर एयरलाइंस के अनुसार, सभी एयरलाइंस के पास अपना एक आकलन है कि रोजाना उनकी फ्लाइट से कितने बीमार और बुजुर्ग यात्री सफर करते हैं, जिनको वास्‍तव में व्‍हीलचेयर की जरूरत है। इसी जरूरत के आधार पर एयरलाइंस ने व्‍हीलचेयर सर्विस प्रोवाइडर के साथ अनुबंध किया है। अनुबंध की सीमा से अधिक व्‍हीलचेयर का इस्‍तेमाल करने पर एयरलाइंस को भारी फीस भरनी पड़ती है। बहुत से मामलों में ऐसा देखा गया है युवा पैसेंजर्स सिर्फ Check In, Security और Boarding की लाइनों से बचने के लिए व्‍हीलचेयर का इस्‍तेमाल करते हैं। जब उन्ही व्हीलचेयर्स के लिए इन्हें अतिरिक्त चार्ज भरना पड़ेगा तब शायद इनके पैर ख़ुदबख़ुद चलने लगेंगे।

Delhi CM Promises Swift Action Against Arbitrary Fee Hike

Delhi chief Rekha Gupta on Tuesday promised ‘swift and strict actions’ against private schools found to be hiking fees arbitrarily or threatening students with expulsion. Delhi’s new CM said that such practices will not be tolerated after conducting a meeting with a group of aggrieved parents. As part of the swift response, Gupta has also instructed the education officials to identify all faultlines in fee payment in private institutions and issue an immediate notice.

“(We have made it so that) schools have the right to intimidate or harass students or their guardians, or to increase fees without due process. There are clear laws and guidelines governing this, and any school found in violation will face serious consequences,” Gupta said.

CM Remarks

The CM’s remark came hours after the meeting with parents and students of a girls’ school in Model Town: Queen Mary’s public School. Parents accused the administration of unfair fee collection methods and expelling students for non-compliance.

The chief minister directed the education department to launch a citywide enquiry into such complaints.

“Whether it’s a smart classroom, trained educators or skill development programmes, our focus is on nurturing life skills, independent thinking and self-resilience so that every child can realise their full potential,” adds Rekha Gupta while flaunting the BJP government’s approach to education reforms, which according to her extends beyond infrastructure.
