“Chinni Love You”: Obsessed Bengaluru Woman Stalks Police Inspector, Sends Love Letter Written in Blood

The CSR Journal Magazine

A very shocking incident has come to light from Bengaluru’s Ramamurthy nagar area. Here, a woman has been charged with stalking, harassment, and criminal intimidation. This comes after she allegedly pursued a serving police inspector and pressured him into a relationship. The accused, identified as Sanjana alias Vanaja, is accused of repeatedly disrupting official police work. She further threatened suicide when her advances were rejected by the cop.

According to reports, the complaint was filed by Inspector Satish GJ, the Station House Officer of Ramamurthy Nagar Police Station, who has been posted there since August 19.

Repeated Calls and Emotional Pressure

According to police records, the harassment began on October 30, when the inspector started receiving repeated WhatsApp calls on his official number from unknown phone numbers. The caller allegedly claimed she was in love with him and insisted he reciprocate. When the inspector ignored the calls, believing it to be a prank, she allegedly continued contacting him from multiple numbers, forcing him to block them.

Despite this, the woman allegedly persisted, calling again from a new number and claiming political influence. She reportedly said she was associated with the Congress party and claimed close ties with senior political leaders, sending photographs to support her claims.

Political Pressure and Station Visits

The situation escalated when calls were reportedly made from offices linked to senior political functionaries, questioning why the inspector was not addressing her grievances. Inspector Satish clarified that the woman had never officially filed a complaint and that her behaviour appeared irrational.

The woman allegedly visited the police station in the inspector’s absence, claimed to be his relative, and left behind flowers and sweets in his office. Despite being warned to stop, the conduct allegedly continued.

Blood-Written Letters and Suicide Threats

On November 7, the woman allegedly entered the inspector’s office during public grievance hours and handed him an envelope. Inside were three handwritten letters and strips of antidepressant tablets. The letters reportedly contained emotional declarations and threats of suicide, stating the inspector would be responsible for her death if he rejected her.

In addition to this, one note allegedly featured a heart symbol and the words “Chinni love you, you love me,” written in blood, which the woman claimed was her own.

Prior Pattern and Legal Action

Police later found that the woman had allegedly targeted other police officers in a similar manner in the past. Attempts to counsel her failed, with both the woman and her family refusing cooperation. After another confrontation at the police station on December 12, during which she allegedly threatened suicide and reputational harm, a formal case was registered. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
