Baloch Liberation Army Claims Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Forces

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), through its media arm Hakkal, has announced a series of coordinated assaults on Pakistani military targets between March 14 and March 16 in Balochistan. The group alleged that these operations involved multiple attacks on military installations and convoys across various areas in the region.

Details of the Initial Assault in Kharan District

The first reported attack occurred on March 14 in the Garuk area of Kharan district. According to the BLA’s statement, its fighters launched an ambush on a convoy belonging to Pakistani forces, employing rockets and heavy weaponry. It was claimed that at least six military vehicles were hit during this ambush, resulting in the deaths of 14 soldiers, with more than ten individuals suffering injuries.

Supply Truck Interception Prior to Attack

On March 13, the BLA stated that its fighters intercepted a truck carrying food supplies intended for a military outpost within the same region. The vehicle was reportedly set ablaze, while the drivers were released unharmed. The BLA stated that this action was in accordance with its operational guidelines.

Incidents on March 15 Involving Military Installations

Coast Guard Checkpoint Attack in Gwadar District

On the same day, the group claimed that its urban guerrilla unit executed a meticulously planned operation against a Coast Guard checkpoint located in the Panwan area of Jiwani in Gwadar district. The BLA alleged that its members were disguised during the operation and reported the deaths of three Coast Guard personnel: Naik Saleem, Sepoy Adnan Rao, and Sepoy Azeem. They also claimed to have confiscated weapons and ammunition from the checkpoint.

Remote-Controlled IED Attack on March 16

In a final operation on March 16, the BLA stated that it utilized a remote-controlled improvised explosive device to target a Pakistani military convoy in the Bakhtiar Loni area of Dukki district. This explosion allegedly destroyed a military vehicle and resulted in the deaths of ten soldiers, according to the group’s claim.
