A woman was targeted in an attempted abduction in the Raipur area of Dehradun on Wednesday morning. The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 6:45 am as she was returning home on her scooter after dropping her daughter off for her college bus. CCTV footage from the area captured the event, showing two men attempting to drag her towards their vehicle.

According to the accounts gathered, the two men, travelling in a black Swift car, stopped her while she was en route. The CCTV footage demonstrates the men exiting the car and allegedly seizing the woman before trying to pull her into the vehicle. Fortunately, she resisted and raised her voice for help, attracting the attention of people nearby.

Their prompt response is credited with thwarting the abduction, as the suspects fled the scene when bystanders approached. Following this harrowing experience, the woman proceeded to the local police station in Raipur to file a formal complaint.
