VKDL Group Chairman V. K. Dubey Honoured at 4th Delhi State Para Swimming Championship

The 4th Delhi State Para Swimming Championship took place on October 8, 2026, at the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Swimming Pool Complex in Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Organised by the Divyang Para Sports Association of Delhi (DPSA), which is affiliated with the Paralympic Committee of India, the event saw participation from over 150 Divyang athletes across various categories. This initiative provided para swimmers a platform to compete at the state level and showcase their skills.

Shri Ashish Sood, Delhi’s Minister for Home and Urban Development, served as the Chief Guest at the championship. He was joined by distinguished guests, including Devesh Chandra Srivastava, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, and Niharika Bhatt, IPS, DCP of North Delhi. Their presence underscored the significance of supporting para athletes in their sporting aspirations.

In his address, Shri Sood emphasised the commitment of the Delhi Government to fostering an inclusive sports environment where every athlete has the opportunity to excel. He stated that events like this championship not only provide competitive opportunities but also prepare participants for larger national and international competitions.
