Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Gifts Balrampur 124 Development Projects Worth ₹825 Crore

The CSR Journal Magazine

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath struck a double note, promising progress while sending a stern warning to troublemakers. Ahead of Vijayadashami, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 124 development projects worth Rs 825 crore and announced that the Devipatan division will soon get its own sports college. The Chief Minister also inspected Maa Pateshwari University during his visit.

Ghazwa-e-Hind

The Chief Minister said that some people live in India but are inspired by the slogan of Ghazwa-e-Hind and are promoting anti-national activities. “Ghazwa-e-Hind will not happen on the soil of India. India’s land is divine and guided by the ideals of various great souls who sacrificed everything for the country. Even imagining or dreaming of Ghazwa-e-Hind guarantees a ticket to hell. Whoever wishes to go to hell should attempt to create chaos,” the CM said.

The CM warned that those hiding under false identities and indulging in such activities should listen carefully: “Sooner or later their fate will be the same as Chhangur’s. Jalaluddin adopted the pseudonym of ‘Chhangur Baba’ because he wanted Hindus to remain deluded while he threw dust in the eyes of society. But no matter how hard the sinner tries, their pot of sins eventually fills up. Dharti Maa cannot bear him anymore. Such criminals and anti-national elements like Chhangur were active in Balrampur,” he said.

Criticises Cross-border activities

The CM further said that those living on Indian soil while engaging in anti-India and anti-Hindu activities must be strictly confronted. The local administration and police must stay alert, and their activities must be reported to the government so that they can be controlled.

The Chief Minister said that some people do not like peace and development. “Laaton Ke Bhoot Baaton Se Nahi Maante. They think the government will bow down before them, but from the very first day, the double-engine government has been committed to a zero-tolerance policy towards crime, criminals, traitors, and anti-nationals. Our sympathy is for daughters, sisters, youth, farmers, businessmen, and those who respect Bharat as a mother and revere its traditions and culture.

These fools do not even know that symbols of faith deserve respect, not love slogans. Faith is not meant for display at crossroads but is a matter of inner conscience. They are weak and cowardly,” the CM said.

‘I Love Mohammad’ Controversy

The CM also said that children’s hands should hold pens, notebooks, and science and mathematics books, but some people give them ‘I Love Mohammad’ posters to create chaos in society. Their own lives are ruined, but they are determined to ruin the lives of children too. The government will not accept such chaos. “Anyone who takes the law into their hands, attacks commuters, threatens daughters’ safety, commits arson against businesses, or creates trouble during festivals will automatically be handed a ticket to hell,” the CM said.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said development in Uttar Pradesh is inclusive, with villages progressing and jobs and government benefits reaching youth and citizens without discrimination. “Where, then, is the scope for chaos?” he asked. A handful of people, once empowered by corrupt governments, had created an identity crisis for the state through riots that drove away industries, development, and investment. Now, after eight and a half years of failed intentions, they are adopting new tricks. In a stern tone, the CM warned, “We are always more prepared than you think. Dare any mischief, and you will be beaten, just like in Bareilly.”

Progress of State

Yogi said while development continues uninterrupted, some elements dislike progress and seek to create unrest during festivals. “I have come to Balrampur to warn those who think chaos is their birthright. If development is disrupted by unrest, then development itself will destroy them. If festivals are disturbed, the price will be so heavy that future generations will remember it.” He added that the days of SP and Congress governments when riots, arson, attacks on women’s safety, and torching traders’ shops were common, are over. “Today, under the double-engine government, anyone who misbehaves with daughters, traders, or disrupts festivals will find the road to hell opening before them,” the CM declared.

The CM also cautioned against those spreading fear through rumors, drones, and theft. He said village security committees have been formed in every Gram Panchayat and police patrolling has been intensified. Orders have been issued to take gangster action against those creating panic in the name of drones and to confiscate the property of those spreading terror in the name of theft. Yogi urged citizens to act responsibly, participate in development and welfare schemes, and contribute to public awareness.

“If anyone in your village, town, or neighbourhood is spreading terror, first try to stop and explain to them; if they don’t listen, promptly inform the administration; the administration will deal with them. You just quietly inform us; we will take care of the rest. One must remain alert against elements involved in love jihad, religious conversions, anti-national acts, cow slaughter, and cow smuggling.”

Holy abode of Maa Pateshwari

The Chief Minister said that Balrampur is located at the Indo-Nepal border. It is the holy abode of Maa Pateshwari. It has witnessed many creative works by the Balrampur State. It was the ‘Karmbhoomu’ of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Karma-Rishi Nanaji Deshmukh. From 1997 to 2017, Balrampur suffered neglect. The expected schemes did not come here, and citizens remained deprived. Hence, Balrampur was considered among the poorest districts. But today, under PM Modi’s leadership, the double-engine government has begun delivering schemes without discrimination. The construction of a university in the name of Maa Pateshwari has started, and this session the university has commenced.

The CM said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee first entered Parliament by winning from the Balrampur constituency, so a medical college is being set up here in his name; the government has already completed the preparations.

A Tharu Museum has already been built in Imlia Koder to preserve the cultural traditions of the Tharu brothers. Today, development gifts are being given in the form of government polytechnic inaugurations, ITIs, degree and inter colleges, hospitals, roads, etc. These initiatives will pave the way for progress and elevation in every citizen’s life.

Development of Uttar Pradesh

The CM said that for the development of Uttar Pradesh and Balrampur, the PM has set the grand goal of Centenary Resolution. “By 2047, when India celebrates 100 years of independence, we want a self-reliant and developed India, and for this, UP must also become Atmanirbhar and Viksit,” he remarked.

He announced that the government has decided to establish a university in every commissionerate. In the Devipatan division, Balrampur and Saharanpur will have Maa Shakambari University, Muradabad will get Jambheshwar University, Aligarh will host Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Mirzapur will have Maa Vindhyavasini University, and Azamgarh will get Maharaja Suheldev University. Additionally, Atal Ji’s name has been given to a medical university, Baba Gorakhnath to an AYUSH University in Gorakhpur, and Mahatma Buddha to an Agriculture University in Kushinagar. Atal residential schools are also being set up in every division.

The CM contrasted the current government’s focus with the previous regime, saying, “Earlier, one district was under the control of a mafia. Now, we are implementing one district–one product and one district–one medical college policies.” He noted that work on Balrampur Medical College is nearing completion, and Shravasti is witnessing rapid construction of Mahatma Buddha Airport.

Road connectivity

Road connectivity has dramatically improved: Balrampur to Lucknow now takes three hours, Ayodhya under two hours, and Gorakhpur two and a half hours. Continuous railway upgrades with modern facilities are also underway. In the Devipatan division, three medical colleges, Gonda, Bahraich, and Balrampur, are being built, and a sports college will soon follow, all aimed at raising per capita income and lifting Balrampur from an aspirational district to a developed one.

CM Yogi also urged citizens to participate in the campaign for a developed Uttar Pradesh by scanning the QR code on the Samarth Uttar Pradesh Portal to provide their short-, medium-, and long-term suggestions.

During the event, Balrampur’s MLA Palturam, Utraula MLA Rampratap Verma, Tulsipur MLA Kailash Nath Shukla, Legislative Council member Awadhesh Kumar Singh ‘Manju,’ Saket Mishra, District Panchayat President Aarti Tiwari, BJP District President Ravi Mishra, former MLA Shailesh Kumar Singh Shailu, and others were present.
