Telangana Bhavan Addresses Over 200 Inquiries from Citizens in the Middle East

The Government of Telangana, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is actively monitoring the developments in various Middle Eastern nations as an official announcement confirmed. A 24×7 Control Room has been established at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to manage the situation effectively.

Since its inception, the Control Room has received more than 200 inquiries from residents of Telangana currently in the affected regions, as well as their families located within the state.

The majority of the inquiries pertain to issues such as disruptions in travel plans, concerns regarding safety, and requests for assistance in coordinating with Indian Embassies in the area. The Telangana Government has emphasized that the Control Room is equipped to provide essential support, facilitate communication, and coordinate efforts with the Ministry of External Affairs of India, along with relevant Indian Missions abroad.

Resident Commissioner Shashank Goel is actively overseeing the operations of the Control Room and is involved in assessing the support being offered to citizens of Telangana. Senior officials stationed at Telangana Bhavan maintain regular communication with the Ministry of External Affairs to deliver timely information and necessary assistance to those in need.

In a related development, the Consulate General of India in Jeddah has expressed its commitment to supporting Indian nationals traveling on special flights amid ongoing regional travel challenges due to the conflict in West Asia. Consul General Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, along with senior officials, conducted a visit to King Abdulaziz International Airport to observe the arrangements for Indian passengers departing on non-scheduled flights back to India.
