The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will convene on Wednesday to select the first Chief Executive Officer of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. The decision will be taken during a high-level meeting scheduled for 2 pm at the residence of the Trust’s president, Nritya Gopal Das, in Maniramdas Chhavani.

The appointment comes after a three-member search committee submitted its final report following a comprehensive screening process. Trust member Mahant Dinendra Das Maharaj confirmed that any resolution reached during the meeting would be agreed upon unanimously by all members of the Trust.

Shortlisted Candidates And Backgrounds

The search committee has narrowed down the initial pool to three candidates, all originating from Uttar Pradesh. The shortlisted individuals have extensive professional experience across the country, having been associated with major projects and government bodies.

The widespread speculation was that a retired civil servant or police officer might be chosen for the administrative role. However, none of the final candidates is a bureaucrat or police officer. Some sources associated with the selection process indicated that one of the shortlisted candidates is a retired military officer.

Trust members have reviewed the panel and expressed satisfaction with the credentials and suitability of all three individuals. The Trust is expected to select a candidate and negotiate the remuneration package before formally announcing the appointment.

Screening Process And Eligibility Criteria

The report was formally submitted during a meeting attended by key Trust members. These included Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Dinendra Das, Acting General Secretary Krishna Mohan, and Ayodhya District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi. The selection panel comprised retired Lieutenant General Vishnu Kant Chaturvedi, former scientist Suresh Haware, and former Justice Pramod Kohli.

Highlighting the scale of the recruitment drive, former Justice Pramod Kohli revealed that the committee evaluated 5,585 applications. To manage the massive volume of submissions, the panel devised a structured digital evaluation process. It used a 600-mark Google Form based on specific eligibility parameters and scoring categories.

Search committee secretary Sameer Panda noted that the final candidates demonstrate the highest calibre of institutional leadership, management expertise, integrity, and vision required for an institution of global significance.

Regarding the announcement timeline, Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj stated that while the report will be discussed during the meeting, the Trust will ultimately decide whether to announce the name immediately or at a later stage.
