In a conversation with journalist Anjula Acharia, Chopra expressed gratitude towards prominent figures such as Aishwarya Rai, the late Irrfan Khan, and Mindy Kaling for their pioneering roles in the entertainment industry. She referred to them as trailblazers whose accomplishments enabled her to carve out her own niche in the Western film industry.

In her discussion, Chopra stated, “I really do believe that I stand on the shoulders of amazing artists and talents that came before me.” She specifically recognized Aishwarya Rai’s iconic status during her Hollywood ventures, as well as the contributions of Irrfan Khan and Mindy Kaling. Priyanka Chopra is currently preparing for the release of her upcoming film, The Bluff, directed by Frank E Flowers. The film is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video on February 25 and features actors Karl Urban and Ismael Cruz Córdova. In addition, Chopra is scheduled to star in SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, marking her return to Indian cinema with a projected release in 2027.
