The final commenced with Esha demonstrating strong form, successfully hitting all five targets in the opening series, which placed her in an early lead. Following that, she maintained her position by achieving four successful hits in her second series after ten shots, confirming her capabilities as a leading contender.

However, her performance fluctuated as she dropped to second place after a three-hit series allowed Xiao to overtake her lead. Esha responded positively, matching Xiao’s points in subsequent series, tying at 16 after 20 shots and then again at 20 after 25 shots, before both shooters reached the crucial 40-shot round.

Deciding Shoot-Offs and Medal Outcomes

The final stages of the contest became increasingly competitive, with Esha, Xiao, and Kim tied at significant points. Esha ultimately faced Kim in a decisive shoot-off for the silver and bronze medals, where both competitors showcased their skills by scoring an equal number of hits in the initial rounds. Esha clinched the silver after securing three hits to Kim’s two in the deciding round.

Following this, Esha went head-to-head with Xiao in the gold-medal shoot-off. Both shooters had finished regular play with 38 points. During the deciding shoot-off, Esha and Xiao competed again, resulting in a narrow outcome. Xiao scored three hits, while Esha managed two, thereby confirming Xiao’s victory and leaving Esha with the silver medal.
