Man Arrested for Killing Pregnant Wife After Domestic Dispute in Visakhapatnam

In Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh a 27-year-old pregnant woman lost her life after her husband brutally killed her in a domestic fight located in PM Palem’s Uda Colony. The entire local community remains stunned due to this tragic event which took place on Monday morning.

The accused person Gyaneshwar, entered into an argument with his wife, Anusha. When their confrontation grew intense, her husband took hold of her throat until she passed out. He transferred her to a close hospital, where doctors confirmed her death immediately after examination. The police investigation revealed the couple spent three years together as husband and wife following their romantic relationship while living in PM Palem.

The Couple Experienced Numerous Issues

Reports indicate their marriage had numerous issues despite their three years together because their fights became worse in previous months. The tragedy became more painful because Anusha was in her last weeks of pregnancy. Gyaneshwar was admitted to the murder at the PM Palem police station after the incident.

Police arrested Gyaneshwar after he confessed to his actions and filed a formal complaint based on the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. King George Hospital received the deceased body for a post-mortem examination after the death occurred.

Husband Claimed Wife was Ill After Killing Her

Gyaneshwar was known to operate a fast-food outlet near the Scouts and Sagar Nagar viewpoint in Visakhapatnam. His sudden revelation to his friends that his wife had fallen ill led them to assist in taking her to the hospital, where her death was confirmed.

Family members and friends of the deceased have expressed outrage over the incident, demanding stringent action against the accused. Anusha’s mother, devastated by the loss, called for justice and stated that no other woman should have to suffer a similar fate.

Similar Incident Occurred

In a separate and unrelated case, Delhi Police recently apprehended an ex-Army personnel who had been evading arrest for two decades. The man, identified as Anil Kumar Tiwari, was originally convicted for murdering his wife in 1989 and had jumped parole in 2005. After an extensive manhunt involving both technical and manual surveillance, he was finally located and arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district.

In Visakhapatnam, police are continuing their investigation into Anusha’s death, and the community awaits justice for the young woman whose life was tragically cut short.
