Fatal Road Accident in Dhamtari Claims Lives of Three CRPF Personnel and a Driver

A tragic road accident in Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh, resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including three personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the driver of another vehicle. The incident took place on Saturday near Bypass Khapri. Official sources indicated that the CRPF personnel were en route from Jagdalpur to Raipur when their vehicle was involved in a collision with a car on Khapri road.

Details of the Casualties

Civil Surgeon Abhishek Tonder provided information regarding the casualties, stating that two individuals died at the scene of the accident, while two others succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital. One person sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment. “We received information that CRPF jawans were traveling from Jagdalpur to Raipur. Their vehicle collided with a car on Khapri road near Dhamtari. Two individuals died on the spot, and two died en route to the hospital. A total of four people lost their lives, and one person is under treatment in the hospital,” Tonder informed reporters.
