Cricket Legend Kapil Dev inaugurates ISSO Swimming Regional at Adani International School

Adani International School proudly hosted the International Schools Sports Organization (ISSO) Swimming Regional Championships on 31 March. The event was inaugurated by cricket legend and former World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev gracing the occasion to inaugurate the event.

First institution in Gujarat to host an ISSO event

Adani International School became the first institution in Gujarat to host an ISSO regional event, which saw participation from as many as 115 young swimmers from U9 and U11 age categories representing seven international schools from the state.
ISSO provides students with a platform to compete in various sports while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. Through nationwide events, ISSO plays a crucial role in developing grassroots sports in India.

 

With this event, Adani International School not only brought the first ISSO regional event to Gujarat but also emerged as the overall champions with a total of 106 medals, 19 Gold in Individual, 36 Gold in Relay, 22 Silver in Individual, 8 Silver in Relay, and 21 Bronze in Individual along with 284 points.

What did Kapil Dev say?

Speaking about his visit, Kapil Dev said, “I had an amazing time at Adani International School, inaugurating the ISSO Swimming Regional Championships. The sports facilities here are outstanding, and it is heartening to see Adani International School actively promoting a strong sports culture in the city through initiatives like this. Efforts like these will shape India’s future sporting champions. I congratulate the Adani family and extend my best wishes for their invaluable contribution to Indian sports.

Traders in Meerut have started demanding ID proofs from customers buying blue drums, reflecting the growing unease in the town. Customers are also being quizzed by shopkeepers about their ‘purpose’ of buying a blue drum, as revealed by local residents.
The recent murder case of Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput in Meerut, has left netizens shocked. A woman named Muskaan Rastogi intoxicated her husband Saurabh and stabbed him to death with support of her boyfriend Sahil Shukla on March 4 this year. The duo then dismembered the victim’s body and packed it in a blue drum filled with wet cement. The gruesome murder case has given birth to a new fear among citizens about the blue drum.
Blue drums, a common hardware item, which are widely used for storing and transporting goods, are being seen as containers for hiding dead bodies of murder victims after this case. Meme videos showing Indian husbands as potential victims of the blue drum have started trending on social media!

Madhya Pradesh के Mandla जिले के बिछिया विकासखंड में एक गांव ऐसा है, जहां पानी की किल्लत इस कदर है कि पानी के लिए करीब 1 किलोमीटर दूर घाट उतरकर कड़ी मशक्कत कर रेत के बने झिरिया से पानी लाना पड़ रहा है। गांव में पानी नहीं होने की वजह से दूसरे गांव के लोग उस गांव में अपनी बेटियों की शादी नहीं रहे है। मतलब Mandla गांव के लड़कों की शादी नहीं हो रही है। गांव में दुल्हन नहीं आ रही है और जो दुल्हने गांव में हैं, वो भी घर और गांव छोड़कर जा रही है।

Mandla: पानी की वजह कुंवारे हैं लड़के

Mandla MP: गर्मी का मौसम अभी ठीक से शुरू भी नहीं हुआ, कि MP का Mandla जिला पानी की भारी किल्लत से जूझने लगा है। जिले के कई गांवों के लोग पानी के संकट से जूझ रहे है। मध्य प्रदेश के Mandla जिला के बिछिया विधानसभा क्षेत्र के ग्राम पंचायत दानी टोला के Peepartola नाम के इस गांव की 1000 से भी ज्यादा की आबादी है। इस गांव में पानी की किल्लत कुछ इस तरह है कि गांव में आधे से ज्यादा युवक कुंवारे रह गए हैं। इतना ही नहीं, जिनकी शादी हुई है उनकी दुल्हनें गांव और घर छोड़कर जा रही है। आपको सुनकर हैरत जरूर होगी लेकिन यहां पानी की कमी के कारण कई युवाओं की शादी नहीं हो पा रही है। ऐसा नहीं है कि यहां शादी के लिए रिश्ते आते नहीं हैं। बकायदा रिश्ते आते हैं लेकिन जब गांव में पानी के साधन के बारे में पूछा जाता है, तो लड़की वाले उल्टे पांव लौट जाते हैं। ग्रामीण नदी से रेत के बीच से छानकर पानी भरने की बात बताते है तो कितना भी Talented लड़का क्यों न हो, शादी के लिए हर कोई इस गांव में अपनी बेटी ब्याहने से डरता है। इस गांव के लोग कई सालों से 1 किलोमीटर दूर घाट से नीचे उतरकर हालोन नदी से रेत के बीच बनाए हुए झिरिया से छने हुए पानी से अपना जीनव यापन कर रहे है। गांव की इसी समस्या को देखते हुए यहां पर कोई भी अपनी लड़की ब्याहना नहीं चाहता। ये कहानी साल दो साल की नहीं, बल्कि कई सालों से चल रही है।
MP के Mandla जिले में स्थित पिपरटोला गांव, एक गंभीर जल संकट से जूझ रहा है। गर्मी के मौसम में यह समस्या और भी गंभीर हो जाती है, जिससे परिवारों को अपनी बुनियादी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए भी संघर्ष करना पड़ता है। Mandla गांव में पानी का कोई स्थायी स्रोत नहीं है, इसलिए लोगों को रोजाना नजदीकी नदी तक जाना पड़ता है। गंदे पानी को इकट्ठा करना और उसे रेत से छानकर पीना, उनके अस्तित्व को बचाए रखने का एकमात्र सहारा है। चिलचिलाती गर्मी में पुरुष और महिलाएं दोनों पानी की तलाश में कड़ी मेहनत करते हैं, यही उनकी प्यास बुझाने का एकमात्र विकल्प है। वार्ड सदस्य राय सिंह मरावी का कहना है, “हम नदी और कुओं से पानी लाते हैं, लेकिन पानी बहुत प्रदूषित और गंदा है। कई ग्रामीण उल्टी, पेचिश और कई गंभीर बीमारियों से पीड़ित हैं। इस पानी को पीने से कई लोगों की जान भी जा चुकी है।

जल योजना के नल Mandla में फांक रहे धूल

ऐसा बिल्कुल भी नहीं है कि इस गांव में नल-जल योजना के तहत नल नहीं लगे, पर ये सिर्फ धूल फांक रहे है। ऐसे में ग्रामीणों को पानी के लिए गांव से एक किलोमीटर दूर घाट उतरकर हालोन नदी में बह रहे रेत के बीच से एक कुंड बनाकर पानी को निकालना पड़ता है। इससे ग्रामीणों का सारा दिन सिर्फ पानी भरने में ही निकल जाता है। इससे गांव के बच्चे ना तो पढ़ पा रहे हैं और ना ही ग्रामीण सही तरीके से मेहनत मजदूरी कर पा रहे हैं। गांव में सभी मजदूर वर्ग के लोग हैं। यहां की महिलाओं का सारा दिन कोसों दूर से पानी लाने में ही गुज़र जाता है। ग्रामीण लगातार इसकी शिकायत सरपंच से लेकर कलेक्टर और जनप्रतिनिधी तक से कर चुके हैं, लेकिन आज तक इनकी समस्या का निदान नहीं हो पाया है। फिलहाल, Media द्वारा सक्रीयता दिखाने के बाद मामले में PHE अधिकारी ने जल्द ही लोगों को पानी मुहैया कराने का भरोसा दिलाया है।

उत्तर प्रदेश में अवैध ई रिक्शा व ऑटो के खिलाफ चलेगा अभियान

मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के आदेश पर मंगलवार को अवैध ई रिक्शा व ऑटो के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया जायेगा। बीते दिनों हुई बैठक में अफसरों को संदेश दिया था कि सुरक्षा व कानून व्यवस्था सरकार की पहली प्राथमिकता है। इसमें किसी प्रकार की लापरवाही या खिलवाड़ बर्दाश्त नहीं होगी। कई घटनाओं में अनधिकृत ई-रिक्शा व ऑटो की संलिप्तता पाई गई है। अभियान चलाकर इस पर हर हाल में अंकुश लगाया जाए। इस आदेश के बाद परिवहन आयुक्त ने समस्त पुलिस कमिश्नर, जिलाधिकारी व पुलिस कप्तान को पत्र लिखा था। अवैध ई रिक्शा व ऑटो के खिलाफ अभियान पूरे प्रदेश में मंगलवार से शुरू होगा।

नाबालिगों के हाथों में नहीं दिखेगी स्टेयरिंग

सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को लेकर चिंतित मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा था कि किसी भी गाड़ी की स्टेयरिंग नाबालिगों के हाथों में न हो, इस पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाय। टेंपो, ई-रिक्शा चालकों का वेरीफिकेशन कराया जाए। जिलों में गठित टास्क फोर्स में परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारियों को भी शामिल किया जाए। इन सभी निर्देशों के पालन और उचित क्रियान्वयन के लिए यह विशेष अभियान मंगलवार से प्रारंभ किया जा रहा है। परिवहन विभाग द्वारा अभियान की प्रतिदिन मॉनिटरिंग की जाएगी। इसके लिए नोडल अधिकारी भी नियुक्त किए गए हैं।

सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत 30 अप्रैल तक पूरे प्रदेश में चलेगा अभियान

मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने प्रदेश की कानून व्यवस्था सुदृढ़ बनाये रखने के लिए विगत दिनों बैठक ली थी। इसमें उन्होंने अनधिकृत रिक्शा व ऑटो के विरुद्ध अभियान चलाने का निर्देश दिया था। यह अभियान पहली अप्रैल (मंगलवार) से प्रारंभ होकर 30 अप्रैल तक चलेगा। मुख्यालय स्तर से इसकी प्रतिदिन मॉनिटरिंग होगी। इसके लिए अपर परिवहन आयुक्त (प्रवर्तन) को नोडल अधिकारी बनाया गया है।

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) secured their first victory of IPL 2025 with a 6-run win over the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Guwahati on Sunday. Despite MS Dhoni’s spectacular six towards the end, CSK fell short, ending at 176/6 while chasing a target of 183 set by RR.
Batting first, Rajasthan posted a competitive total of 182/9, led by Nitish Rana’s stellar score of 81 runs off 52 balls. Wanindu Hasaranga shone with the ball, claiming four crucial wickets to derail CSK’s chase. This victory marked a much-needed turnaround for RR after two consecutive losses.

Rajasthan’s Innings

Having to bat first after losing the toss, RR had a shaky start as they lost early wickets. However, Nitish Rana anchored the innings with his composed yet aggressive batting.
His partnerships with middle-order batters ensured RR reached a defendable total despite a late collapse caused by Matheesha Pathirana’s disciplined bowling (2/28).
CSK’s bowlers kept the pressure on, with Pathirana and Maheesh Theekshana delivering economical spells. However, RR managed to capitalise on loose deliveries in the middle overs to set a challenging target.

Chennai’s Chase

In response, CSK began cautiously but lost momentum as RR’s bowlers struck at regular intervals. Ruturaj Gaikwad (47 off 36) provided some stability, but the middle order struggled against Hasaranga’s spin. Shivam Dube and Dhoni tried to revive the chase in the death overs, but Hasaranga’s dismissal of Dube proved decisive.
Needing 19 runs off the final over, Dhoni hit a six but couldn’t guide his team to victory as Sandeep Sharma held his nerve to defend the target successfully.

Turning Points

The match saw several pivotal moments, including Riyan Parag’s stunning catch to dismiss Dube and Hasaranga’s dismissal of Dhoni in the penultimate over. Rana’s innings and Hasaranga’s four-wicket haul were instrumental in RR’s win.

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announces Parks and Water ATMS funded by CSR in Kalkaji

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated a wall art in Kalkaji area on Sunday and announced a series of development initiatives which will be funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). These include two parks and the three water ATM plants which will benefit slum residents in the area.
“The government is committed to ensuring that every part of the capital is well-organised and developed,” the CM said. The projects aim to enhance urban infrastructure and improve living conditions in the area.

CSR of Petronet LNG Ltd and Indian Oil

Talking about the projects, CM Rekha Gupta said that the initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to make Delhi cleaner, beautiful, and well-developed. The two parks in Kalkaji would be developed with a budget of Rs 1 crore as part of Petronet LNG Limited’s CSR and the three water ATM plants, which will be installed in the slum areas of Kalkaji at a similar cost, will be funded by Indian Oil Corporation Limited through CSR.

CSR of BPCL

The wall art inaugurated by the Chief Minister has been developed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) as part of its CSR at a cost of Rs 1 crore. The CM said that the wall art will not only beautify the area but also promote cleanliness and also serve as a medium for conveying social and cultural messages.
“Delhi’s beauty is in the hands of the people of Delhi. We often do wall writing, paste posters, etc., but it’s our responsibility to also preserve them. We all can make a strong effort towards it,” Gupta said. She thanked Bharat Petroleum for providing CSR funds that contributed to development initiatives in the area.

CSR of Indraprastha Gas Limited

Apart from these, 150 solar lights will also be installed in the area from the same fund. These lights are being installed in collaboration with Indraprastha Gas Limited, at a cost of Rs 30 lakh to enhance security and promote energy conservation in the area, the chief minister informed.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the importance of citizen participation in maintaining public spaces, fostering sustainable initiatives, and aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a better India.
South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Kalkaji Councilor Yogita Singh, Councillor Chandra Prakash, and District President Rajkumar Chautala were present among others.

Viral Girl Monalisa को फिल्म का ऑफर देने वाले डायरेक्टर सनोज मिश्रा को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। रेप के मामले में गिरफ्तारी हुई है। दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट से बेल खारिज होने के बाद दिल्ली के नबी करीम थाना पुलिस ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोप है कि सनोज मिश्रा ने एक छोटे कस्बे से आने वाली, हीरोइन बनने की तमन्ना रखने वाली एक लड़की के साथ कई बार रेप किया।

नशीला पदार्थ खिलाकर रेप का आरोप

पीड़िता के मुताबिक, साल 2020 में टिक टॉक और इंस्टाग्राम के जरिए उसकी मुलाकात सनोज मिश्रा से हुई थी। उस समय वह झांसी में रहती थी। कुछ समय तक दोनों के बीच बातचीत होती रही और फिर डायरेक्टर ने 17 जून 2021 को उसे फोन कर बताया कि वो झांसी रेलवे स्टेशन पहुंच चुका है। जब पीड़िता ने सामाजिक दबाव का हवाला देते हुए मिलने से इनकार कर दिया, तो आरोपी सनोज मिश्रा (Film Director Sanoj Mishra News) ने आत्महत्या की धमकी दी। इसके बाद डर के मारे पीड़िता उससे मिलने चली गई। अगले दिन 18 जून 2021 को आरोपी ने फिर फोन किया और आत्महत्या की धमकी देकर उसे रेलवे स्टेशन बुलाया।

फिल्मों में काम दिलाने का लालच देकर किया शोषण

आरोप है कि वहां से आरोपी उसे एक रिसॉर्ट में ले गया और नशीला पदार्थ खिलाकर उसके साथ रेप किया। पीड़िता ने FIR में बताया कि आरोपी ने उसकी आपत्तिजनक तस्वीरें और वीडियो बना लिए और धमकी दी कि अगर उसने विरोध किया, तो वो इन्हें सार्वजनिक कर देगा। इसके बाद उसने शादी का झांसा देकर कई बार अलग-अलग जगहों पर बुलाकर शारीरिक संबंध बनाए। साथ ही, उसे फिल्मों में काम दिलाने का लालच भी दिया।

Microplastic: वैज्ञानिकों की टीम ने चेताया है कि जो लोग अक्सर  Chewing Gum चबाते रहते हैं उन्हें सावधान हो जाना चाहिए। अध्ययन में पाया गया है कि Chewing Gum चबाने से शरीर में सैकड़ों Microplastic रिलीज होते हैं जो समय के साथ बढ़ते जाते हैं। इससे Cronic बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ सकता है। दुनियाभर में बढ़ती Cronic बीमारियों के लिए लाइफस्टाइल और खान-पान में गड़बड़ी को प्रमुख कारण बताया जाता रहा है। कई पर्यावरणीय स्थितियां भी हैं जो समय के साथ बीमारियों के खतरे को बढ़ा रही हैं। कई अध्ययन लगातार अलर्ट करते रहे हैं कि इंसानी शरीर में Microplastic की मात्रा बढ़ती जा रही है, जिसपर अगर समय रहते ध्यान न दिया गया तो ये आने वाले दशकों में इंसान के स्वास्थ्य को बुरी तरह प्रभावित कर सकती है।

Chewing Gum चबाने की आदत बढ़ा न दे मुश्किल

23-27 मार्च को आयोजित American Chemical Society (ACS) की एक बैठक में इस अध्ययन की रिपोर्ट पर चर्चा की गई, जिसमें शोधकर्ताओं ने Chewing Gum चबाने की आदत को सेहत के लिए बेहद समस्याकारक बताया है। अध्ययन में पाया गया कि केवल एक ग्राम च्युइंग गम से औसतन 100 Microplastics रिलीज हो सकते हैं, वहीं कुछ से 600 से अधिक सूक्ष्म प्लास्टिक भी निकलते पाए गए हैं। एक व्यक्ति जो साल में लगभग 180 Chewing Gum चबाता है, वह 30,000 Microplastics निगल सकता है। पांच ब्रांड के सिंथेटिक और पांच प्राकृतिक गम के परीक्षण में पाया गया है कि इन दोनों में Microplastics की मौजूदगी थी।

रोजमर्रा की चीजों में Microplastics

यह अध्ययन ऐसे समय में किया गया है जब शोधकर्ता शरीर में Microplastics की बढ़ती मात्रा को लेकर पहले से बहुत चिंतित हैं। रसोईघरों में इस्तेमाल होने वाले सामनों से लेकर Plastic की बोतल तक, सभी के माध्यम से शरीर में इस खतरे को बढ़ते हुए देखा जा रहा है। यहां तक कि हम जिस हवा में सांस लेते हैं उसमें भी Microplastic की मौजूदगी देखी गई है। इससे पहले के अध्ययन में हमारे Lungs, रक्त और मस्तिष्क के अंदर भी Microplastic की मौजूदगी को लेकर अलर्ट किया गया था जिससे स्वास्थ्य पर गंभीर असर होने का खतरा हो सकता है।सुपरमार्केट में बिकने वाली सबसे आम Chewing Gum को Synthetic गम कहा जाता है, जिसमें चबाने लायक प्रभाव लाने के लिए पेट्रोलियम आधारित Polymer मिलाए जाते हैं। हालांकि पैकेजिंग में Ingredients की लिस्ट में किसी भी तरह के प्लास्टिक की सूची नहीं दी जाती है। Britain के Portsmouth University के शोधकर्ता David Jones ने कहा कि वे इस बात से आश्चर्यचकित हैं कि अध्ययनों में कुछ ऐसे Plastic भी मिले हैं जिनके बारे में ज्ञात ही नहीं था कि वे इन गम्स में हो सकते हैं।

मस्तिष्क में बढ़ता Microplastic चिंता का कारण

शोधकर्ताओं ने बताया कि प्लेसेंटा, रक्त, ब्रेस्ट मिल्क, लिवर-किडनी के साथ इंसानों के मस्तिष्क में भी Microplastic की मात्रा बढ़ती हुई देखी गई है। Brain में माइक्रोप्लास्टिक के कारण मस्तिष्क की मूल संरचना में बदलाव हो रहा है, जिसके चलते Dementia के अलावा Stroke और Heart Attack से मौत का जोखिम 4.5 गुना तक बढ़ सकता है। विशेषज्ञों ने चिंता जताई है कि ब्रेन में Microplastic की उपस्थिति Blood-Brain Barrier को प्रभावित कर सकती है जिसके दुष्परिणाम काफी चिंताजनक हो सकते हैं। Blood Brain Barrier रक्त और मस्तिष्क के बीच एक झिल्ली नुमा अवरोधक पट्टी होती है, जो मस्तिष्क की रक्त वाहिकाओं को नुकसान पहुंचने से बचाती है। वैज्ञानिकों ने अलर्ट किया है कि Liver और Kidney की तुलना में मस्तिष्क में कहीं अधिक मात्रा में प्लास्टिक के अति सूक्ष्म कण जमा हो रहे हैं, और भविष्य में इसके गंभीर जोखिम हो सकते हैं। इसी तरह एक अध्ययन में मां के दूध में भी Microplastic पाया गया था। स्तन के दूध में माइक्रोप्लास्टिक मिलने के पहले एक अन्य अध्ययन में शोधकर्ताओं की टीम ने मानव रक्त में भी Microplastic पाए जाने को लेकर अलर्ट किया था।

Plastic का इस्तेमाल कितना खतरनाक

स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञ लगातार प्लास्टिक के Containers से खाना खाने और प्लास्टिक की बोतलों से पानी पीने से बचने की चेतावनी देते रहे हैं। प्लास्टिक की चीजों के बढ़ते इस्तेमाल के कारण न सिर्फ शरीर में Microplastic की मात्रा बढ़ती जा रही है, साथ ही स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञों के लिए बिस्फेनॉल ए (BPA) नामक रसायन भी चिंता का कारण बना हुआ है।
नमक और चीनी चाहे पैक्ड हों या अनपैक्ड, लगभग सभी में Microplastics पाए गए हैं। गौरतलब है कि माइक्रोप्लास्टिक्स को कैंसर के प्रमुख कारकों में से एक माना जाता है।
