Two fake candidates were arrested in Kishanganj on the very first day of Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Examination. The fake candidates from Saharsa had come to appear in the examination at the centre of the district headquarters.

Fake candidate Guddu Kumar is a resident of Saur Bazar market of Saharsa. He was appearing in the examination at Chakla Upgraded School centre instead of Sonu Kumar. The other fake candidate Aditya Raj is a resident of Simri Bakhtiyarpur Saharsa, who was appearing for the exam at Jagannath School centre in place of Shatrughan Kumar.

Fake candidates caught during biometric verification

Bihar Police Constable recruitment Exam started on Wednesday which is being held by the Central Selection Board of Constables (CBSC). Examination centres have been set up in 38 districts of the state, where the examination will be conducted from today, Wednesday 16th to August 3rd. On the first day of the examination, two fake candidates were arrested.

Informing about the arrest, Sagar Kumar, SP, Kishanganj said, “During biometric verification, it was revealed that the candidates had taken the exam in place of someone else. Both the candidates had come to take the exam in place of candidates in different centres. Both the fake candidates have been arrested. Interrogation is going on. After this, further details will be revealed.”

Bihar Police Constable recruitment Exam

CSBC will conduct the Bihar Police Constable written exam in six phases on July 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 and August 3. The exam will be held in single shifts, from 12 pm to 2 pm.

The examination was conducted on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm amid tight security. Magistrates as well as police officers and police forces were deployed at the examination centres across the state including the capital Patna. Patna’s Eastern SP Parichay Kumar inspected the examination centres.

Recruitment has been announced for 19838 posts for the constable recruitment exam 2025. The exam commences from 12 noon but all the candidates have been instructed to enter the examination centre between 9:30 am to 10:30 am, otherwise they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
