The CSR Journal Magazine

A young innovator from Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, has made the school proud by earning a place at one of India’s most prestigious technology platforms. Prayasaa Rath, a Class 2 student, was invited to present her award-winning game design project at the India Game Developers Conference (IGDC) 2025, held from 5 to 7 November 2025 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.

Prayasaa had earlier won the National Award in the Game Design (Beginner, 6–7 years) category at the Design Championship 2025. Her invitation to the IGDC came as a recognition of her creativity and innovation at such a young age.

This year’s Design Championship also saw other outstanding national-level performances from RFSKK students. Kiara Mittal of Class 7 won the national title in App Design (Middle,11–13 years), while the team of Devansh Gupta and Aniruddh Tendulkar of Class 6 emerged as Runners-up in Game Design (Middle, 11–13 years).

The IGDC is India’s largest gaming conference, attracting leading developers, designers, and creative technologists from across the country. At the event, Prayasaa showcased her game before a wide audience of industry professionals and enthusiasts, drawing admiration for her original concept and design approach.

Teachers described her selection as a rare honour for a student of her age, adding that it reflects both her talent and the school’s focus on nurturing curiosity, design thinking, and creative exploration.

Her mentor, Ms Leena Kawale, guided her through the design process and encouraged her to refine her ideas for presentation at the national level. The school community has extended its congratulations to Prayasaa and her parents for this remarkable achievement.

Prayasaa’s success has become an inspiration for other young learners to pursue innovation with imagination and confidence.
