Yami Gautam Dhar Makes Special Appearance in Dhurandhar The Revenge Now in Theatres

The much-anticipated film, Dhurandhar The Revenge, premiered today, March 18, with showings starting at 5:00 pm across the country. The film has garnered significant attention, leading to sold-out screenings. There had been rumors regarding a special cameo by actress Yami Gautam Dhar, and recent confirmations reveal that she indeed makes a notable appearance in the movie.

Previous Collaborations

This collaboration marks another project featuring Yami Gautam Dhar and her husband, producer-director-writer Aditya Dhar. She previously starred in Aditya’s debut film, Uri: The Surgical Strike, released in 2019. Additionally, she has acted in two films produced under Aditya’s banner, B62 Studios: the highly successful Article 370, which will be released in 2024, and the direct-to-OTT film Dhoom Dhaam, set for release in 2025.

Yami Gautam Dhar’s Remarks on the Film

At the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026 held in February, Yami expressed her thoughts about Dhurandhar The Revenge. She shared, “I have already watched Dhurandhar 2. It is beyond extraordinary. I was really emotional. I had to catch a flight that day, so I couldn’t say anything to Aditya, but later, I couldn’t do anything. I had to read a script, but I couldn’t, I had to watch something, but I couldn’t. I was just watching the beautiful sunset outside and wondering what I will tell Aditya when the flight lands. I wanted to justify my feelings on the film and what I experienced. Aditya loves his audience and the country and he has given his life’s effort to make this film. Dhurandhar 2 will be an experience that the audience will never forget.”
