In a dramatic turn of events, Sub-Inspector Sakina Khan of the Uttar Pradesh Police shot down a rape accused attempting to flee. The injured Kamal Kishore is accused of raping a four-year-old girl. The incident occurred during an encounter in Lucknow’s Madeyganj area on May 28, 2025.

According to reports, the Lucknow police received a tip-off about Kishore’s whereabouts. This led a team, including lead investigator SI Sakina Khan, to the Madeyganj vicinity. As the police approached, the accused, identified as Kamal Kishore alias Bhaddar, opened fire on the officers.
Following which, SI Khan, a pivotal member of the search operation, responded promptly. With the help of her service pistol, she injured Kishore in the leg and neutralized the threat.

The accused, Kamal Kishore was subsequently arrested and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. The encounter has been officially documented in police records. SI Khan’s courageous actions are formally noted in the case records for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the police recovered a pistol, cartridges, shells, and a bike from the accused.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Lucknow Central, Ashish Srivastava, confirmed the details of the incident. He revealed that Kamal Kishore has a significant criminal history. The accused has several cases already registered against him. “During the exchange of fire, the criminal got injured after being shot in the leg. He was admitted to a nearby hospital. The accused was identified as Kamal Kishore alias Bhaddar,” the DCP said.
The criminal background of the accused underscores the danger he posed to both the public and the police team during the confrontation. According to police reports, Kishore, a resident of Sidhauli in Sitapur, was living in a slum area on Bandha Road in Madeyganj.
ACP, Mahanagar, Neha Tripathi, stated that Madeyganj police station is actively investigating his criminal past. Police suspect Bhaddar to be a child predator. He is known for luring children with sweets before taking them to his hideout and then raping them.
