Indian Restaurants Feature in Asia’s 50 Best Extended List

Four Indian establishments have made their mark in the extended list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026, which includes rankings from 51 to 100. While the top 50 rankings have yet to be released, the following four restaurants have been acknowledged in the extended rankings.

Farmlore, Bengaluru – Positioned 83rd

Farmlore offers a unique farm-based dining experience that emphasizes locally sourced ingredients. Founded by chef Johnson Ebenezer and entrepreneur Kaushik Raju, this restaurant focuses on seasonal menus and sustainable practices, striving to spotlight the rich produce available in the region. Inja, Delhi – Positioned 75th

Located in the heart of the Indian capital, Inja stands out as a pioneer in blending Indian and Japanese culinary traditions. The restaurant showcases a menu by chef Adwait Anantwar, which features innovative dishes such as shiso leaf tuna, pomelo chaat, and lobster rasam chawanmushi. This unique approach to combining diverse flavors epitomizes the restaurant’s commitment to culinary exploration.

The Table, Mumbai – Positioned 73rd

The Table has established itself as a favored dining spot among Mumbai locals, known for its extensive and diverse menu that caters to a wide array of tastes. The restaurant is particularly recognized for its signature beverages, which complement its impressive selection of global dishes. Its consistency in offering high-quality meals has garnered it a loyal patronage.

Papa’s, Mumbai – Positioned 66th

A newcomer to the competitive culinary landscape, Papa’s features an intimate setting with only 12 seats, where chef Hussain Shahzad crafts a dining experience that playfully reinterprets traditional Indian flavors. The micro-restaurant has gained attention for its exclusive reservations, making dining there a sought-after experience. This innovative approach further highlights the evolving nature of Indian gastronomy.

Upcoming Unveiling of the Top 50 Restaurants

This extended list illustrates the shifting perceptions around Indian dining on the global stage, showcasing the growing acknowledgment of diverse culinary experiences from the country.
